PLASTIC SURGERY Plan GTA:Online Thread.

The ability to re-customize/edit our characters has been a highly requested feature within GTA:online community. This is due to the fact of some of us either disliking our character appearance during gameplay or to experiment with the other variations of appliances/features we can use for our unique and initiative pleasure without starting a new character slot. However it appears the only why to edit our characters is by either doing the "2nd Character Glitch" or send a ticket to R* and possibly lie about your character being facially glitched. So i'm proposing a way that Re-customizing or Plastic Surgery can be introduced with of course how R* style of how they logically do ideas in mind.

Introduction and Consequence

1. Plastic Surgery can and would most likely be implemented by via main menu as doing this within a online session could possibly cause serious problems due to the complicated coding of this game as we have seen previously through patches and updates which introduces more problems and anomaly s within the game. just imagine being within a Plastic Surgeon store in a online session on a operating table to only be RPG'ed by some rabid player only to find your character being respawned looking like a failed glitched experiment because the Rockstar Server Clouds didn't properly save the data of your players edits.

Knowing R* style they could probably have a mission involved with us changing our identities for a heist which would be a cool way of introducing this feature into the game

The Inevitable Catch

2. Now of course their would have to be some type of obstacle that R* would implement in order to stop us just constantly worrying about customizing our characters faces back to back than worrying about actually playing the game as Facial customization can be far more tedious than character clothing customization. So R* knowing how valuable this feature would be to the community especially those who make Rockstar Editor films they would likely charge a hefty GTA$ fine fo re-editing our player with a possible price range of $100,000-$200,000 (I know this may sound loony but considering Rockstars previous price ranges within recent updates its not too far fetched however this is just what i think "ROCKSTAR" would do but NOT if it were up to me.)

let me know what you guys think and share your ideas as to How Re-editing our players can be implemented and hopefully we can get Rockstars attention to the matter.

After surgery we get a unique bandage mask we have to wear for 12 in-game hours that one we can't unequip.

If we take damage, the bandage mask switch to a Bloody Bandage Mask and the facial features underneath get randomized in ugly way.

Damn i thought about this so many times. That would be one hell of a "Shark Card update" for Rockstar! But after 2,5 years of GTA Online i can't see that happening anymore. I just hope for a better character creator in future games. Cause GTA Online's character creator is very poor imo.

im happy with the way my character looks, but it would be good for players who are unhappy with certain features and to be able to edit the features they aint happy with but Rockstar would most likely charge players for altering their appearance in a way of selling Shark Cards

"Wait, you want a plastic surgery feature that is the perfect satire of the state this game is based in and not more overpriced lowriders? But that is considered FUN! IT'S NOT ALLOWED!"

Why would you want to wear a bondage mask?

Barring any potential misuse/glitches (probably R*'s biggest concern) this would be massively popular, even for players who are happy with their characters, but just want to do some minor tweaks.

There is no doubt R* could make a boatload of money off it, but I suspect it's another "carrot" they're holding onto for a future DLC drop. Knowing R*, could be this year, could be the last month before GTA Online gets laid to rest...

I really don't think this feature is needed, plus I can see it been abused...

Oh it can definitely be abused which is why i wrote R* would put a expensive price range around $100,000-$200,000 to stop people from worrying too much about their characters so that they can go public online more. it would also favor R* because of their shark card methods which you can't really blame them for if they did such a thing.

You sure have only one thing on your mind, don't you? ;)

Bandages are white medical thingies which prevent your face to melt before it heals up.

BONDAGE masks are fetishwear.

R* would probably implement your bandage method to Bad Sport players who want surgery done to their character which would be a pain in the ass for them since they would most likely get Blown D Fuk Up by a psychos of tanks in lobbies like those lol.

If they added this, they'd have to re-do the clothes to expand.

I've always wanted my character to look like this.

I'll definitely be taking damage if this is added.

Just make it cost $50,000 and give it a long, real-life cooldown of a week, perhaps even more. Being able to change and edit your character would be a great addition, but it shouldn't be something you can willily-dillily do whenever you want because then people would be making Meme Characters and completely break the immersion. The only real reason people actually try to make a decent-looking character is because you're stuck with it and only get one shot.

So this is one of the few things I feel like would need a big cooldown, so it still feels like a vital process.

I'd love the option of a plastic surgery ... My character could use some botox & some tweaks here & there.

It would fit perfectly with the atmosphere of V, this is VineWood after all!

I certainly do hope that R* will do such a thing, but I got my doubts

If they added this, they'd have to re-do the clothes to expand.

i mean Facial customization not body. Body customization we would have to wait for GTA 6 to have any chances of that. However some clothes in Gta online make your character look bulky or skinny like Franklin clothes such as his jeans and bomber jackets make you look bulky in GTA Online. Tuxedos from the High life update make you look very slim. a great example of the difference in the clothing is to wear slim pants suit with a Bomber jacket added in the Lowriders update and see how odd your upper body look compared to your lower body as it you would have Busta Ryhmes upper body w/ Wiz Khalifa legs.

This concept is something Rockstar could use to help make money and allow players to alter their characters.

There ought to be several plastic surgeon clinics around the map, or even just one that players can go to like the barbershop.

Once inside there should be a a cut scene for the consultation during pre-op where the player can select one or more features they wish to alter. A sex change costing the most. And after that have a second cut scene revealing the new youso to speak to Low Santos!

"Snip, snip, snip" sounds when changing sex to female, lol.

In Vinewood, if one wants to cosplay or impersonate multiple characters, the plastic surgery would be only thematically and pragmatically fitting, so this feature would be pretty much a good cash sink.

But if one wants to smash his face in a wall repeatedly for sh*t and giggles after paying few thousand dollars for it... Well, the rich people are weird, aren't they? :D

Gender swap would definitely be something R* would overprice.

Lol. I like this idea.

Make it only on face/head damage though. I don't think body or leg shots would affect the face.

I've always thought it would be a great idea. I'm very happy with the appearance of both my characters now but only because Rockstar let me change them twice lol. I feel like it's pretty hard to use the character creator. It's also difficult to know exactly how your character is going to look in the game until you get them in the world and start getting screenshots and selfies lol..

In a private session using a macro to not get logged out while I do other things. Seriously the plastic surgeon should just be in the game and you use it when you want. It's not some game breaking mechanic. I mean I've seen players shoot me and change outfits and that's the thing I remember most besides their name, not their stupid face. So I think changing our face should be something we could do anytime we want.

I think that the Rockstar designers and managers will need brain surgery, before we ever get plastic surgery for our players.

How the hell do you abuse morphing a model?

Yeah most games have that problem of your character not quite appearing how you wanted during creation mode compared to how he/she/it looks during gameplay i guess its all within lighting and the games engine. Thats why i appreciate games like Fallout which allows you a second chance of recreating your character during gameplay after some progression through the game

It's called "i see many people support it, so i make myself special by being against it for no reason."
