I guess double Lamars are coming after part 2 of the update. Rest of the cars for the weekend, and new double events after that? Or maybe cars next week and double stuff after that.

I'd almost place a bet on Lamar missions being on next monday,

Exactly my thoughts - but then it turned out that they are going to release one car per week during April. I still think the events will continue during that period and the Lamar missions were supposed to be the monday special for another week. There is no reason to hold them back. We already had 2x money on normal missions. Now things are a bit different, since R* made the missions accessible via the job menu, but it's still not as good as 2x money for missions from a particular contact. They will be double money soon. Maybe even for longer than a day. sure hope so.

To be honest, the missions themselves are average, but Lamar's cut scenes are funny (Get a Job, Busta ... No no, he ain't talking bout CJ) & I love the new dynamic music R* created for them.

GTA V LXII, Low XI & Low XII are my favorite ones.

The land races thing isn't true it's a land racing adversary mode called keep the pace and it's a f*cking joke

to be fair, i tried hosting that specific heist setup almost everyday for about a month, never got it done until a few days ago

 

edit- i hosted to randoms, i have no friends that are on when i am to play heists

Oooh absolutely, the mission itself is not difficult at all... Kinda easy actually & you can do it all yourself, but the there are two factors that make it a nightmare,

 

A) People not joining in.

I spent hours waiting for people to join, so I can play the mission.

 

B) If you got lucky & 3 people did join in, there's is always that one person who goes Rambo & ruin the job. Not to mention, the accidents that happen everytime & then. And then eventually one of crew members will rage quit the mission & you are back to square one.

I know that feel. as a leader I'm still stuck with it & I can't pass it ... Not for CM or Elite or Loyalty challenges .. But first time as heist leader -___-

lmao every time I gave the benefit of the doubt to low level players, they always f'd me. so I just gave up. that's why I can't host heists for anyone other than my friends. I can't handle the rage. but recently I took a 7-8 month break from heists and now I wonder how I raged a lot back then. because people still suck at heists and I'm like, what's the point of getting mad anymore?

lmao every time I gave the benefit of the doubt to low level players, they always f'd me. so I just gave up. that's why I can't host heists for anyone other than my friends. Yep Yep, people will always surprise you ... And necessarily in a good way (I.e. The tell your worst heists failures thread)
