OT: I think I'm gonna muster up enough courage to tell my manager I'm quitting sometime next week. I won't let her sweet talk me into staying this time around.

 

It's gonna suck for everyone else when I leave because that place is going to go to sh*t when I leave. But I need to make some changes in my life.

 

I'm giving up a lot for a long term goal, might as well ensure I'm happy with where I am in life along the way.

What is with people you don't even know having a problem with you? Like you just know that they don't like you by their mannerisms. Inching away from me, giving me the occasional strange look or glance. I'm a reserved person around people I don't really know, especially in class. It's not anything really, I'm either focused on the task at hand or just doing my own thing. People normally assume I'm shy, someone even suggested I was mute and I just chuckled, but I'm actually pretty comfortable around people... well, unless that happens. Getting bad vibes. Like what is it? I don't do anything bad, I'm nice. But it appears some people have a problem with me. I don't know, maybe I'm just paranoid.

Also, yay, sleep deprivation. Over the last three days, my total accumulated sleep time barely reached double digits. Last night I've slept for 12 hours straight and my mind is finally starting to function properly again. Still tired, though.

I think it's funny when people think they're complimenting you, but in a really f*cked up backwards way. Here are some of the best examples I have personally recieved.

 

The main one is - 'you look exactly like Christina Ricci, you remember her? Wednesday Adams, the one with the forehead, she's hot now'.

And this gem that is incredibly racist in every way. I had been asked this four times (different people each time) during my 8 months in college - 'are you black? I know you're asian, but do you have some black in you? you're nose is pretty wide, and you have that big bottom lip? I mean you look good but are you?'.

 

These are thing that have really been said to me. I don't take offense. I found it funny, I don't think people knew that those things aren't compliments.

My state gets 300+ days of sunshine a year, so any weather, literally any weather (except wind. f*ck you, wind) brings a smile to my face.

Yup. Everytime we cave and let my kid fall asleep in our bed it just makes him fight harder for that next time because he knows... he will win in the end no matter how the first version of our feelings appeared closed to the option. Or at least he believes i's a possibility as we... reopened that option to him once and now he doesn't believe we won't let him sleep in out bed, even during the feelings of the next night.... V2.

 

And guess what: He's right.

 

EDIT: At least that's how I feel about all of this and that.

you live in texas with humidity, it sucks balls. we got high humidity here too. the desert is a lot dryer and not as hot, the temps get high but its misleading. so you live in the right place

God I hate money... or the lack thereof. Get a doorbell ring last night after dark, all the dogs freak out and the kid wakes up. Who's there? A process server, Capitol One is suing me for a credit card debt I obviously can't f*cking pay.

 

This morning my paycheck doesn't get deposited because somehow, 2 weeks ago I f*cked up the "self service" adding a new checking account, even though it all said it was fine and I got no communication stating otherwise.... of course I don't have extra money in there to pay for the outstanding bills I already have coming out today. Hello many overdraft and returned check fees.

I can live with humidity but I do prefer drier heat. My main reason for wanting to live in the desert is sun. Clear skies most of the time. Texas is real unpredictable, planning stuff becomes a real pain in the ass. I love dry spells and droughts because at least I know my plans won't get rained the f*ck out. It's annoying. I honestly wouldn't mind living somewhere with more sun and lees random weeks full of rain. Like now. Last week was sunny. This week has gone from days full of rain to clear skies right now.
