darkgreenmeme
"I just eavesdropped on a very interesting conversation. That diamond store that got hit last week? The ice is in a helicopter in a rooftop in Del Perro ready to be moved out to the East Coast. They'll have muscle so you'd better tag-team this - put someone on a nearby roof with firepower while the other moves in for the cargo. I wouldn't normally poach, but this crew are idiots Meet me back at the warehouse." darkgreenmeme
Once piece of advice I have for this one is that the transporter should wait for the sniper to get into position before they go to the roof, otherwise the sniper starts getting shot at as soon as they get to the roof. I watched through the play through video on the GTA Wiki, and I noticed that this mission was a bit different early on, that there was no differentiation between the two roles. Does anyone know when this changed?
PondNewt
I think it is easier if the sniper just goes with the transporter to begin with then you don't have to worry about picking them up in the helicopter later on which is always the hardest part for me as there isn't really much space to land it on the roof of the other building. Perhaps what I'm talking about here in that I find it easier if both players just go the transporter way is new and what darkgreenmeme was talking about in the above post. I know it was pretty recently that I did it that way and it worked very well. If this is possibly a recent change though then I don't know exactly when it happened. darkgreenmeme
Did the sniper have to go to the other alley first and trigger the marker?
PondNewt
Did the sniper have to go to the other alley first and trigger the marker? No he didn't surprisingly he just came with me right from the start.
