Should the windows in Clothing Stores be bulletproof, or not?

  1. 1. Should Clothing Store Windows be Bulletproof?

    • Yes. They protect the player from attacks on them.

    • No, because I sneak up on randoms and kill them, even if they have done nothing to me.

Whenever, I'm in a clothing store, such as Binco or Suburban, or Posonbys, I always get attacked by people who roll up in Insurgents, Zentornos, really any popular fa**ot vehicle. And whenever that happens, I take cover near the window and leave the session quickly. It's funny as hell to see them waste all that ammo.

But, I've been thinking. Should they be bulletproof? Is isn't realistic or anything. I doubt clothing stores have bulletproof glass.

Not sure what you're trying to say here. The windows on the clothing stores are already bulletproof, which is good as it makes it harder for trolls.

Are you trying to say they shouldn't be because it isn't realistic?

I'm asking should they be there. It isn't realistic, but at the same time, it's good for keeping out attackers. It's all up to opinion. I'd like to observe what people vote for, and why.

So, should they be there? Do you value realism over safety?

Seriously? Dude just go in passive mode while you shop.

Pointless poll.

VIP Mode does not allow access to it. Plus, I'd like to observe what members pick and why. Just because you think it is a "Pointless Poll". doesn't mean it is.

For simpletons out there, "should windows be bulletproof, or not?" means "Would you like it if R* made it so windows were not bulletproof?".

How about extending the field of "disabling weapons" to the enterance or stairway to the store while we're at it? The most popular method of griefing is just shooting the clerk outside the door and kill you because you can't pull out weapons.

I'm always in passive while shopping in pubs but the windows should stay the way they are.

Come out of VIP/bodyguard, or do clothing/other misc activities later. If you choose to be these then you're literally asking for people to kill you.

A bodyquard shouldn't be clothes shopping on the vip's time. Leave the windows how they are.

Why not shop in Paleto or Blaine County? No one goes there and I doubt any retard griefer would leave the city JUST to inconvenience you.

Nah, just wait for an event to start then send an RPG in their direction.

Go passive before you enter?

This or an invite only session. Windows being bulletproof are fine as they are OP.

1. Don't you have better things to do being a VIP than shopping for clothes?

2. I don't know, isn't this exactly what bodyguards are for?

If I do screw with people in stores it's by parking my Insurgent in front of the entrance, with the bulletproof rear facing the door. I much more enjoy trying to force them to commit suicide than killing them directly, if I do feel like being an asshat at the time.

When I am in stores myself, I almost always take the precaution of using passive mode first because I don't like being interrupted (although, I do laugh a bit when someone decides to kill the storekeeper anyways).

They don't really need to be bullet proof to be honest. If they were, they would have been 2 years ago.

Edit: Neo was never bulletproof :p

Ponsonby's windows are bullet proof. And there's just the doors that serve as a good Assault Shotgun and RPG bottleneck. All of the store windows are explosive proof. Just don't stand near them if a tank or RPG spammer is trying to get you. I really only clothes shop in invite only sessions. However I've closed down Ponsonby's myself when I had a bounty, and got the majority of Auto Shotgun kills from people who came in after me. Some of the RPG kills that unlocked LSPD tint as well.

People who shop in crowded lobbies are clearly unaware of what horrors can become them whilst they peruse outfits or ammo.

Sorry, sissies – GTA life ain't pretty, and no bulletproof glass is going to change that.

Well if I feel like being a bit of a d**k, I'm probably in my Savage anyway, and bombing a shop with that tends to flush out anything inside regardless of the glass.

They should have bullet proof glass anyway. Anyone shopping's already enough of a target for bored players looking for violent thrills/laughs.

CrysisAverted

They shouldn't

I'll never feel like a true mafioso until I can roll up on a store front in my Roosevelt Valor and shoot it up and toss some molotovs at it just to send a message.
