New Lamar missions?

Is there any new Lamar missions on upcoming lowriders updates? Lowriders 2 feel half assed to me since it doesn't have what I really enjoyed wearing the lowrider clothes which were the Lamar missions back in lowriders 1. Come on wheres the gangsta sh*t on that one well that is really f*cked up.

The Lamar missions were enjoyable? They were a pain, especially with dumb randoms.

Nah, sadly there's no new missions. Check Seawall's thread or patch notes for all info.

Those lamar missions were like a mini-heist. I think folks would have enjoyed them more if there wasnt a player # requirement on all of them then to top it off nobody was allowed to die or it would fail like a heist. I think those 2 things were the least enjoyable about them.

I prefer mew Heists and Contact Missions than to go through Lamar missions. Those ghetto outfits provides no protection from gunfire whatsoever.

If anything I hope Rockstar learned from the Lamar debacle. Low pay, required number of players and a one death failure...terrible. Nobody asked for a set of missions with all of the down sides to heists and none of the benefits...until now.

I enjoyed the Lamar missions quiet a bit but I think GTA Online should focus more on Free Mode and adversary mode content.

I am sure some sort of mission based coop content will be added in the future though, in my opininon the Lamar missions were very well designed, in spite of the last part of them.

I loved how knitted the missions were put in the world of GTA:O - like they really fit! Just a shame that if I had two friends and we needed a random, we'd either have him brought in our party to communicate (which isn't too bad) or he'd refuse to join the invite and pray he can read/listen to what Lamar is saying. If you've got no friends? It's almost impossible unless the randoms know each other. Put 4 randoms together and it's like a bunch of blind people trying to bake cookies from scratch.

 

Any type of mission (ANY!) that can be solo'd I will fully appreciate. No matter the pay or XP, I'll take it and cherish it. I don't know why R* are forcing us to play together. They just don't understand we sometimes like to do our own thing.

I liked the Lamar mission and wouldn't mind if they added more. I completed all of them with friends and randoms multiple times. Sure, sometimes people die and f*ck it up. But I don't have anywhere near the amount of issues people on here have with randoms. Maybe YOU are the problem and not the randoms, hence the ridiculous amount of failures no matter how many people you try with.

I hope we get some more. They were fun. It just sucked the Heist no death penalty crossed over to it. And it was a story instead of the generic Online missions like go here kill _____, steal ______,

Why? What does some GTAForums members have against them?

And don't even start with "they are imbalanced" because they aren't, they are just assymmetrical(most of them). and that makes them even better for me.

 

Just to take an often quoted example, Rhino Hunt, I played a serious amount of Rhino Hunt during its Double Cash week, and its not only incredibly fun but also Balanced!

 

Three Hunters can easily handle one tank, and they don't even need to coordinate that much all they have to do is to go FULL ENGAGE all the time.

In addition you can throw sticky bombs rather far which allows them to almost serve as a Rocket Launcher.

The majority of Adversary Modes are left ignored, however. Sure Double Cash and RP events are fun and all, but once that's over, it'll be left to rot as always.

I am on PC and I still see people playing some of the old adversary modes every now and then, other than that that is the point of them, they are practicly being released at a constant two weeks cycle, once the players for one adversary mode decrease a new one is released quickly.

This keeps the game fresh and enjoyable in my opinion.

The 2-4 players required, and one death failure on hard difficulty were the downsides. But Lamar's cutscenes! We're talking about eggs motherf*cker!

I can't understand a word he is saying so hopefully not. Of course if the missions are optional and don't contain some gated content where they force you to do it, then I don't care either way.

every so often the lobby is tasked with mugging a certain player, they will be off the radar only to the player they are tasked to mug, they can only use a knife too. If they get killed they lose, if they succeed in mugging the player they get whatever cash that player has on hand + $15k?

The Lamar missions are really good, the only problem is that they are long and have bad payouts. I really want to see more of those missions someday.
