Biira99
The Shannara Chronicles is an American fantasy drama television series created by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar. It is an adaptation of the Shannara series of fantasy novels by Terry Brooks, primarily The Sword of Shannara Trilogy. source: en.wikipedia.org Is anybody here watching this show? I started watching it some time ago. I thought it was fun. It wasn't a masterpiece, there were a lot of issues with it, but we shouldn't forget it was done by MTV, which was kind of a debut for them. The biggest advantage for me was the character played by Manu Bennett (who also was responsible for the great portrayal of Slade Wilson on "Arrow"). Also, the music theme used as the opening credits was fantastic. The show might have lacked a bit of maturity, and it seems it suffered from the lack of big budget (but here's hoping the budget will grow, if the show gets renewed for the second season). feckyerlife
Crossed
I read the first 6 or 7 books in the series. Dunno how a show could do the lore justice, a movie would be difficult. Good read after I wore out the Tolkien literature , if that's possible.
feckyerlife
sadly i watch this. i been trying to watch the season finale but its not on ondemand. this is one of those shows where the visuals are 100x better than the acting, at least the girls are hot. The 100 is a far better show, i put them in the same category/genre Edited March 21, 2016 by feckyerlife
