[SA] GTA SA : Project V ( V County Side Maps )

Hi guys, I want to show our project. Project V is a mod that converting full V map (not only countryside) to San Andreas. You will experience GTA V map on GTA SA with this mods. We will release this soon. We will make GTA V Feature too, like actor changer, voice of actor, wasted/busted effect, etc. Not only that, we will convert vehicles and weapon too. Our goals is to make lowspec gamer to experience GTA V.
In 1 month, we have completed 1/4 maps without props. We will add the props later after the maps.

1. So you're going to convert the countryside only?

2. Will you use the last-gen or current-gen map as a basis for the conversion?

3. What the hell do you mean by "V style script"?

 

And a little suggestions: Care are already being converted by another member on this forum, you should rather focus on the map

And a little suggestions: Care are already being converted by another member on this forum, you should rather focus on the map

1. I think I only convert countyside only. Because I cant change the maps limit. V maps is so big. Anyway, LS maps for sa its available.

2. I'll use current gen. But I'll optimizing for highres texture.

3. V style script is cleo pack (my own cleo) for this project, like wasted & busted effect, actor speeching, etc.

1. Only me from all team to convert map.

2. SA limits.

Apparently, you CAN change the limits with fastman's limit adjuster. Just for your interest :)

Texture is not undetailed. But rockstar makes GTAV with another engine. And for details need the decals. There no decals for now.

from what i see , it seems like you don't mipmap the textures ? oh and can you add some prelights around the map ? it'll make the map looks less flat for sure.

All the textures you take from GTA5 must be extracted as DDS, that way you maintain the right compression and don't tangle around with the mip maps. There is virtually no room for mistakes.

Just add pre-lights and mip-maps and don't forget to use fastman limit adjuster to add more parts, and good luck i'm looking forward to this!

Will be nice if u try to work togeder with TheVladonPro on GTA ViSA. He convert the LS parts and u covert the Blaine Coutry parts ;)

Hi guys, I'm the one who develop this project. Actually, this project is dead but 3 weeks ago I started everything from zero again. I'm a former modder, I didn't play SA for almost a year and I've made several mods, not a big mod but just a texture replacing. Here I created a new account with different nickname. I told my friend who make this thread not to include my real name, but he's off now. I hope he change it tomorrow (including another names).

 

I know there is another project that convert GTA V maps into SA, but our project aim differently. We want to convert all maps, vehicles, and weapons if possible, also add some GTA V features like three playable player, etc. I've made special tool for our project so we can convert the maps very quickly. This will take no more than a week to convert one region if you have time. Also, thanks to DK for his great auto converter tool. Without it, this project would not be possible.

Yeaaaaaaaaah... That's similar to the other project's aim aswell, albeit with some IV stuff and without the 3-protagonist switching.

 

One thing that would make this project different than the other one would be to touch some models manually so they won't look out of place.
