OK so the acceleration is terrible and you can't change the wood paneling colour, but just look at the storage space. You can't get this much luggage in a T20.

I f*cking despise it because they completely bastardized the original beauty from TLAD. It's clean and the current front-end looks like f*cking sh*t.

Use it all the time, and usually i am not even last in missions and setups, since usually people drive horribly. It looks sublime, this and sanchez are actually only things that both of my characters have.

The Dundreary Regina is a godforsaken car that needs to be taken out back and shot, then tarred and feathered. Then shot again for good measure. It's just absolute worst. I'd rather drive the tractor.

 

Why can't they just give us the Vice City/San Andreas Regina?

 

It looks better, it even has decent performance since it was relatively modern for the times (late 80s). It has a two-tone, customizable paintjob and a very clean (if not basic) design. Somehow we went from the 3D era to the HD era and the Regina got worse and older. How could this happen?!

 

May the GTA V Regina burn in a car fire for all eternity.

I've had one pretty much since online launched on last gen.

The first two cars I had in my second character's low end apartment garage way back then were a Phoenix and a Regina... still have both.

 

I get that the TLAD version's grill is more stylish, but I don't really get why so many people dislike the current one... since that's literally the only difference between the two. Even the front bumper is identical on both of them.

 

If they could ever be bothered to do it, they could easily add the TLAD Pontiac-style grill as an option.

The position and size of the headlights even seems to be the same... it's just what surrounds them that's different. The bumper and fenders are the same. The hood is almost identical as well... it's the same exact shape other than the peak added to the middle of the front end. So it would be simple to do without adding it as a "new" car.

 

Optional grill and hood. That's all it would take.

 

Personally, I like the current look just as much. Nothing wrong with the '73 Fury look.

I mostly said '73 Fury because they also have the pointed section in the hood like the Regina does.

They're pretty similar to '70 Chevelles / Malibus up front anyway. Can't go wrong with either one.

I have one, lowridered up. The front end matches a real life car, but isn't a patch on the old TLAD grille, and I hate how you have to shoot out the front suspension to get the car level. Still, it's a good cruiser, and all that chrome trim looks fantastic in the sun (the half roof rack with chrome strips especially).

I just sold mine for $92K to buy a Virgo Classic...which I absolutely hated, so much that I already sold the Virgo Classic and might just make space for another Regina. I'd like the IV front end back but with the entire car in perfect condition like in V/GTAO. Plus it is slow (but tolerable) and the competition suspension doesn't get the car low enough, like with many other cars. We need air suspension for this...

 

Complete with $65,000 chrome wheels. The V front end does remind me of my real life '73 Ford Gran Torino wagon's front end though, so I guess I like it for that reason.

I could drive to a mod shop with this and make a Faggio look better.

I could climb mount chilliad in a rusty tornado faster than this.

I could wreck a golf caddy and it would still look better than this.

 

As others have said, TLaD version is superior.
