GTA3 runns sluggish on my Athlon 1GHz and GeForce DDR when I run it in 800x600. Unlike GTA3 where it draws all the polygons at one time for each island. So you wont have to worry about the computer tring the draw the polygons on a building behind you and around the corner. I personally have a 1.53ghz athlon and a 128 ati radeon and it still has its stutter quite often. this all information that was said by rockstar (dont remember where) about the ps2 version, but id imagine it would work the same way on pc. It is official and came direct from the Rockstar Webmaster because i run GTA Sites and they often send us info. It's part of the GTA universe, and 15 years later GTA3 happened. It shares the same history as GTA3. Rockstar just meant that it's not meant to be taken as the Star Wars type prequel. As the webmaster replied to DJNeuphoria's email about Multiplayer rumour.. this is the FIRST official announcement about Vice City on PC. Anyway the Vice City PC sites will begin pouring in. The fact that you can put your logo and site url under EVERY post (some have over 1000) in your signature but you can't tell it in a post once or twice is the most stupid idea ever. Its not about who is better. Its about helping visitors to the best content. Anyway, back on topic.
