lethalqueen
TWD, GOT and Breaking Bad are my favorite show. People, keep watching or you'll never understand. My favorite quote in GOT is "The North remembers". I read TWD (the comics). Andrea was so much better in the comic than the show. 13RW was not bad at all but there's some scene hard to watch for a "teen drama". TVD was garbage. I love Sacha Baron Cohen. I never watch Star Wars and Harry Potter (except the first movie). I don't like the Avengers a lot but I love Captain America's story. The Winter Soldier is awesome. I don't know what is my favorite movie but Nowhere Boy and Freedom Writers are great movies. The last movie I've seen was "Don't Breath" and it was good. chronic lumbago
- Never, not once have I watched a second of a James Bond movie. Nope. Besides commercials that is. Neither the old movies or those reboots. - Same goes for Indiana Jones. - I didn't like FF7 at all. The action scenes are ridiculously impossible and they even made me laugh. I couldn't take this movie seriously. I have a feeling Paul Walker's death was used as a hype train by the developers (don't want to start a controversy here! Maybe my thoughts on this are total bullsh*t, but to me, personally, something smelled incredibly fishy here) - I couldn't care less if a movie is acted by George Clooney or the neighborhood's distant cousin. I don't watch movies because of popular actors. The content is what interests me.
Mister Pink
I have never watched a full episode of Game of Thrones. Only snippets of it here and there, mostly on YouTube though, I don't have the time, neither I have the patience to sit through 7 seasons of content, plus I already know all important points of the story, the main characters, the deaths, the most important scenes, etc.... When I want to know more about a character, I look into "The Fate of..." videos series provided by Daemon Blackfyre channel, he has great stuff in there. Anyways, since I know the most important plot points and threads, I can keep up with the series just fine. -I have only saw the first episode of The Walking Dead, thats it, neither I felt compelled to look up the rest in YT, is just meh IMO, zombies is an annoying fad just like vampires, we should move on from it already. -Same applies to Breaking Bad, though I know it's a great series with great characters, I already spoiled myself the most important plot points, so I see no use in sitting through it. -Star Wars, never saw one movie from it, not interested and I always found the light Saber to be incredible stupid to use in anything, considering that is too easy to lose your hand or legs. -Star Trek, same thing. -Alien and Predator movies, same thing. This was probably the most horrendous post I've ever seen, lol. I don't agree with anyone that says they don't have the time or patience to sit through something that's made for entertainment. It's like saying I don't have the time and patience to be happy and enjoy something. It doesn't make sense. It's for the time you are not working or studying or doing chores. I relaxing time fun. Usually it takes an hour to watch one episode. Watching clips and keeping up with major plot points is whack. Why bother? It's like buying a news paper only to read the headlines. Or buying a book for the 15 images that might be inside, lol. Maybe you can get away with Game of Thrones. I am watching it myself but I think it's a little overrated. It's very entertaining nonetheless. And it doesn't really matter if you know major plot points in Breaking Bad or any TV show. It's not the same as seeing them play out, watching all the intricacies, the details in the shot, the acting, the tension, the subtext, the soundtrack and just the whole mise en scene. It's the journey, not the destination and all that. I could tell you the plot points of the film Taxi Driver but you might think you know it but then I'll show you a describing all the subtext, cinematography choices and the layers of storytelling in it. A very thorough analysis of of that film makes you appreciate the art of cinema and how glossing over plot points completely renders the whole project practically null and void. I wouldn't tell anyone you were keeping up with series' unless the person you were talking to was a complete idiot and/or a super casual fan. Because if you told me you were familiar with Taxi Drive using your "keeping up with" sense of connection the TV shows you mentioned I may be inclined to think I was speaking to a fool! While I was never attracted to Star Wars, it kind of bugged me, I made an effort to try appreciate it. I seen parts of older films and may have even seen most of Ewan McGregor one but what I did was watched the newest ones. That got me hooked and now I'm watching the original ones because it's easier now that I'm a fan. So I would highly recommend watching a high-quality The Force Awakens. Even if you don't watch the originals you'll take something enjoyable from these news ones because they're great. Trust me. I couldn't really get in to Star Trek, series of films although I enjoyed the film that came out a few years ago. Also Predator and Alien are two great films. I would highly recommend both BTW, please take my rant in jest and with a light heart, I'm just poking fun at you, I'm not trying to be antagonistic or disrespectful or hateful towards you. Sombra
I find GoT and Walking Dead to be extremely boring, I dunno why but it seems on both shows I got to around season 5 and it just seemed like such a f*cking drag watching them. I gave up on season 7 after a relatively strong start however the boredom started setting in around the Governor storyline. I only watched it after that hoping things would pick up again and it did in drips and drabs, but nothing as interesting as the first three seasons IMO. Season two's still my favourite as they were still in search of a cure/explanation for the outbreak. Whilst I get the show's not just about zombies I miss the tension and unknowing of those early seasons. I guess Fear The Walking Dead kinda fills that void, but even it lacks that special something,
Sombra
I wouldn't say either are inherently bad shows as I can see the attraction but for me atleast they seemed to draw out the storyline buildups way too much; no doubt I enjoy a good plot progression and a few cliffhangers but when shows are taking forever for some mediocre predictable climax it becomes a drag to watch. I also like how theres no shortage of toothpaste or detergent in a zombie apocalypse. Algonquin Assassin 1 join the 11%

Is this The Guy?
I f*cking love zombie movies. Even the low budget crap you can find on Netflix and other streaming services, infact sometimes even more than the mainstream stuff lol Just finished watching ReZort on Netflix. Movie takes place on an island where people can go to vacation and there are tours where they arm you and you can shoot zombies for fun. But of course, sometimes goes horribly horribly wrong. It's terrible and I love it I even don't mind the resident evil movies. I watched them all and never felt dissapointed by them Of course I love the classics like Night of the living dead, land of the dead, dawn of the dead, return of the living dead, etc. Also the not so classics (yet) like Zombieland and A Scouts guide to the zombie apocalypse which I've watched about 20 times each. If anyone's ever in the mood to watch a good bloody and somewhat scary zombie movie there's a French film titled La Horde that is a pretty damn entertaining one. The irony of this is that I'm not too big on the walking dead right now. Well, really I just gave up on it during the first half of the 7th season. I watched every episode before that but from what I watched this last season it was just boring. Lonely-Martin
I'm very open-minded with movies and TV that I tend to find something in most everything I try. But there's some out there for one reason or another I just can't quite buy into or get the hype for as much as others. (Sorry for long post). Game of Thrones - Not that so dislike the show fully, but it's so full of boring crap and with the music, I have to watch it during the day's off or I'm falling asleep. Do enjoy some good old violence and gore, taboo content even, but f*cking hell it drags on to the point where I could do like old horror DVD's and skip to the kill. (Plus many of the actors are just such ponces I can't buy into them. That dragon girl* is far too overrated and Terminator 5 showed she's nothing but a jailbait/teen crappy level actress too, uugh. And Snow needs to get back on the make up chair or catwalk. sh*t actor in all I've seen and it's distracting. Kill them both). *Won't attempt spelling it, lol. The Walking Dead - Loved it, got all the comics and trade paperbacks too, but this show has become a bit embarrassing now. Rinse and repeat, and Daryl. f*ck off, give me more like Merle any day. An actual threat right there with his ways. The Guv was poor, but in comparison to Negan, blimey. He was awesome! Having read the comics and knowing the character Negan, I feared the worst as TWD has language restrictions. Game over, Negan was too soft and even loveable too quickly. I'm seeing out what's to come of recent headlines, then done. Won't spoil anything, but shows dead to me in about 6 eps. (And I just couldn't do more than season one of Fear. Terrible show with a terrible cast of unlikeable characters IMHO, and just hampered the original through being too much TWD now). Raj and Bernadette in The Big Bang Theory - Just c*nts with traits I really can't stand in people, lol. Often just tune these 2 out. Makes me cringe at times as they are really not funny or likeable at all. Enjoy much about the show though. LOTR/Hobbit Trilogy - Started off all good, but should have stopped after LOTR2 (I mean, it wasn't as though he wasn't gonna make the journey, lol). Good for insomnia though. Some decent battles to begin with but by the time we get to LOTR3, it's gone far too far off the deep end. And The Hobbit 3 is the only movie I've ever fallen asleep through in the pictures. I tried, but no, it literally knocked me out! Sharknado/Z Nation or any of these 'mockbusters' from The Asylum - Less said the better. Makes movies like Lake Placid or Tremors Oscar worthy in comparison. Just don't. (And this comes from a B-movie horror fan). Good luck to them though, gotta be good at something if you can sell this crap! (Swallowing is my guess). The Sopranos Season 6 - Must say first, this is my all time favourite TV show, without a single doubt. But during the first half of this series I was constantly feeling like the show was drifting off into boring country. Vito's story was hinted at enough, but it just dragged so much during this season and I often found myself wanting him out of the way quickly. Fortunately the series returned to form and all was forgiven, but that was a close one. (Though if a story like that helps people be more comfortable as they are, no bad thing of course). And finally, WWE - As a lifelong fan that's overlooked or forgiven/forgotten much nonsense over the decades, I'm being strongly tested with my loyalty now. Has moments, and so much potential, but it's just a shadow of its former self. Don't mind the PG era as much as many as I believe the entertainment is in the writing (I don't need strippers or thumb tacks, lol). How many Disney/Pixar films keep adults engaged? Easily do-able with TV/sponsor/rating restrictions, if they have the talent and writers. Already bored of Rhonda, Roman is like the John Snow I eluded to above. Really needs a full makeover. Plus, in today's world where men can't wrestle women or retaliate, while women can do so against the males, a real double standard that I find distracting. Folk want equality, and it is just entertainment, feels a bit backwards. If Rhonda can kick the sh*t out of 5 security guards, and fair play as she's a tough girl, but seeing they are obviously not allowed to back, as Stone Cold said... 'What!?' (Trying to get conversation going so keen to read thoughts - Thanks for reading). GTAgamerWyald
SonnyNapoli
Full Metal Jacket - Huey doorgunner scene makes me laugh every goddamn time. "Anyone who runs is a VC, anyone who stands is a well disciplined VC!" After reading Phil Caputo's Rumor of War I realized soldiers in Nam actually had the right to shoot down a running civilian, considering him as a VC threat. Big Lebowski - Re-watched it even more times than a Godfather. Game of Thrones - Decided to check it out, couldn't get any clue what the f*ck is going on onscreen. Decided to watch Generation Kill instead. Arnold Stallone

Plus since the likes of Hogan, Cena, and The Rock opening doors beyond wrestling, Brock too, even when a superstar does get over or start to show a more universal appeal, there are other avenues more open than before so the stars can have further ambitions that internally might hold them back with Vince (or whoever really does take the creative control) wanting things to go a certain direction or keep them on board. So much to it all beyond just the wrestling biz/in ring entertainment and shenanigans with today's WWE I feel. Needs competition too. That said, I've bashed Roman enough this last few years too and Raw this week kinda blew my mind a bit. Even when they do push someone, like Finn Balor a spell back and gave him the title, things just had to go a different way because of long term injuries and such that it really exposes how poorly the mid-card is prepared to step up if needed to carry the show. When Austin hurt his neck, the energy in Hunter and The Rock to be number one was clear to all, and with The Undertaker, Mankind, or Kane or so many others, they always had someone in place just in case. With the writing and depth, easier for an injured star to work lighter. (Plus the internet doesn't help the storytelling too). But then the odds gem turns up with potential to soar, Punk/Bryan maybe. Just hasn't happened this past couple of years. Algonquin Assassin
Jerking For Soup
I haven't watched WWE ever since Shawn Michaels left. It was starting to get stale anyway past Wrestlemania 25. Edge left, CM Punk left, Cena has become even more of a meme, the Rock's become cheesy and it just feels lacklustre. I did love the Ruthless Aggression era though. Lots of great dynamics between characters/superstars like HHH, Orton and Batista, Mick Foley and Edge and ECW, etc. Evolution with Ric Flair, HHH, Batista and Orton was pretty f*cking awesome, probably my favourite part of that era. A lot of superstars were at each other's throats and it was interesting to watch. I just don't have that spark anymore to continue watching. Maybe it's because I was a kid at the time of the Ruthless Aggression era, maybe it's because WWE is just soulless now. It wasn't just about the big stars at the time, but it was a battle for survival. WWE had to change their ways in order to compete with WCW and even ECW was becoming a threat otherwise it meant going out of business. That's what I loved about it. The creative envelope had to be ripped wide open and every single person had to bring their A game. I mean sh*t. I remember most of the RAWs/Smackdowns were so buzzing they'd give some of the modern PPVs a run for their money. I can't stress enough what it was like to be a fresh wrestling fan in those days. It was simply amazing. I still watch Attitude Era related DVDs and even some 20 years later it still sends chills down my spine. Granted not all of it was great, but the majority certainly was. I think the problem now is the political climate, censorship and really just not being able to do what they got away with back in the late 90s. It's not really the company's fault. What I look back on and love so much is you could really feel that tension between the stars, everyone was scraping for the place and if a spot came up, you saw these guys really want yo take it. Today, with say Becky Lynch recently and for me, Elias, these 2 have scored some genuine hot pops and show so much potential, Seth Rollins too really. But Vince like his players in place and to know it too much. That urgency and backstage competition, even hate as looking back some guys just really did hate each other too. Bret and Shawn is legendary after Montreal. As a fan at the time, we were in awe and had to see those moments out, often distracting us from real life so much too. As a kid, the Hogan era served me well, but as a teen/young adult, it's all about those wars. I used to record WCW on video at my house and always take it to my buddies to watch after that weeks Raw that he'd record. #VHSdays. Always watch together, and some truly fantastic memories of those days. One thing WWE does do well now is they do like their nostalgia and often celebrate those days, though censor/trim an awful lot, lol. But I feel if HHH can get in and be more influential there is hope they could find some spark. The man has that old school mentality, but of course, sponsors/shareholders are key too. But with Fox buying in, maybe an edge to it all could come back. That said, my son enjoys it and I won't burst that bubble, lol. As he gets older I talk/show him more of those days and I see that glint in his eye, even 20 odd years later, that era really was just pure magic. ThatBenGuy1998
I actually really like Tom and Jerry, as well as Woody Woodpecker, Looney Tunes, and 1920s-1930s Mickey Mouse cartoons. The reason being is that they were violent and entertaining at the same time, instead of being all sugar coated like they are now. It also always has really sickened me, even as a young child, when people look at Baby Looney Tunes, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, or other modern cartoons of those titles and think it's the real deal. Jerking For Soup
I'm pretty sure Trey Parker & Matt Stone said Family Guy is the fast food of comedy animation, and they're completely right if they said it. Family Guy really is terrible. The first two to three seasons had some funny moments, but as the show went on it just got lame, predictable and generic. Really anything that Seth McFaralane touches these days is unfunny. The first Ted was the best thing he's ever made, like, almost ever. The second was.... ugh. American Dad was refreshing but ultimately sucked.
Laker23
- Friends is my favourite show of all time, in terms of how many times I can watch it and it still feels fresh to me. Breaking Bad would be my favourite TV drama. - I enjoy BBT but find the latest seasons hard to watch in comparison to the earlier ones. The introduction of Amy and Bernadette as series regulars ruined a lot of it for me, although Amy was somewhat entertaining at least in her early episodes. - 2 Broke Girls (I believe that's the name) is one of the sh*ttiest 'comedy' shows I've even seen and I'm amazed it apparently had 6 seasons. It's really rare for a show that's based on comedy to not even make me smile at the humor attempted within it, the humor which is horrible and sounds like a record on repeat. - Right now Ozark, Mr. Robot and Peaky Blinders would be my current favourites that are still active shows. - Adding on to what some others said about WWE. I used to be an avid fan of it, never missing a show, especially during the Attitude Era and even the Ruthless Aggression one. Nowadays I keep up to date but will never watch either a Raw or Smackdown, usually I will watch any clips that I'm interested in on YT. The Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania are the only two shows I will choose to watch from them, and even then most of the time I end up regretting it. Vince's over reliance on past stars is killing any hope of building new ones. The sooner Brock f*cks off the better it will be, but they still have so many issues to fix that I can't imagine it will get much better anytime soon. TLAD being the Vincent/Mia parts (can have parallels with Johnny/Ashley), IV being the Gold Watch (Niko winning the game like Butch does, some shocking character deaths from TLAD and the most important story) and TBOGT which signs the game off in the best possible way. Mine's when Vincent and Mia dance at Jack Rabbit Slims.
