CynicalRise
This feature is completely pointless and makes no sense. You can f*ck and it'll be censored, but if you say f*ck like: f u ck or, f|_|ck, it won't be censored, and no seems to care. Do you see my point? (You probably didn't, feel free to call me a knob jockey) Edited March 10, 2016 by TheProcrastinatingMath
RedDagger
The most recent answer for it I can find is here: It's been a ground rule for the longest time and it won't be changing anytime soon. Still, if your point is that it can be easily bypassed - doing so is against the forum rules, and a little asterisk isn't going to throw off what you're saying anyway Nico, *MURDOC*, Octane and 3 others

Kirsty
This feature is completely pointless and makes no sense. But it makes AdSense ™ A few stars on curse words that are completely obvious to us is a very small price to pay to satisfy the terms of Google Adsense. Without it, this wonderful free community might not exist. Maybe that sounds overly dramatic, but again, it's really not worth moaning over if it's in place for a good reason, and hence it's part of the forum rules that it shouldn't be circumvented. Regarding Funding, could there be a visible Donate Button placed into the Top Bar of the Forum? Perhaps place it next to the GTA Mods Link. Girish
Regarding Funding, could there be a visible Donate Button placed into the Top Bar of the Forum? Perhaps place it next to the GTA Mods Link. My small suggestion. Funding is not our concern at the moment. As far as I know, Tank is more than happy to run the network out of his own pocket plus whatever money the ads get him. If, however, money does become a concern in the near future, then we'll try to come up with something. *MURDOC*, CynicalRise, HalfOfAKebab and 3 others

Daz
I have been f*cking asking for this for f*cking ever. F*ck the sponsors. size_m
i don't get at all why the f-word gets censored in the first place. why is it so bad to say/write this word? i mean it is a very common used word in spoken language. it's not a nice word but also not such a disaster like you treat it. what would happen if it wasn't censored on this forum? i can fairly understand that it is censored on tv, at least in daytime so the kids don't hear it all the time (although they hear it anyways in real life). in other countries it's not such a problem and is not banned from tv etc. is it some kind of law that it is not allowed to write it on a forum or something? would you get sued if it wasn't censored? Kirsty
I don't know why the other replies in this topic didn't give you your answer. It isn't bad, mean, disastrous or illegal to say f*ck on this forum, everyone can swear to their heart's content, it just breaks a one of the Google Adsense terms of service not covering it up. We adhere to these terms because ads keep the forum running, and t's not like a few asterisks prevent us from understanding what you're saying. size_m, Flachbau, CynicalRise and 2 others
