marco6158 Posted August 29, 2017 Share Posted August 29, 2017 Opened FH3 after quite a long time, read about the update which included many fixes and performance improvements as well as support fo more steering wheels included mine. Let's see, game lags with minimum settings (it used to sit at 30fps with medium/low settings), cannot change steering wheel commands and even if I unplug the steering wheel and restart the game it doesn't let me play with the controller or with the keyboard. Vehicle stand still revving without no way to change settings, after one year and very few hours played considering how much I love Forza, I can safely say I wasted money. That might be part of the reason why it performs so poorly. Never mind. I looked at the wrong spec sheet. It seems like the kind of game that would run on low to medium settings (but I have no idea how VRAM usage works in this game). You should enable the dynamic optimization option and enable v-sync. I can get mine to run on ultra but only with these two options enabled (to get a reliable 60 FPS experience with few drops). I've been going 1-3 weeks without opening it up. Decided to group up with some mates and just take pics. Not amazing shots like those here but these are drone mode so I'm pretty happy with how they came out. While some may disagree (very much valid as well), Blizzard Mountain has been overall a lot more fun than the Hot Wheels expansion. Its smaller (I guess?) but its nice and cozy all the same, plus there's snow so... Algonquin Assassin Posted October 9, 2017 Share Posted October 9, 2017 I think comparing Blizzard Mountain to Hot Wheels is like trying to compare TLAD to TBOGT. Both are so different in their intentions. I enjoy the challenge of Blizzard Mountain's events and the change of scenery is nice, but Hot Wheels makes me feel like a kid again and the tropical island is also another nice change of scenery. I'm happy I bought both, but I think Blizzard Mountain kinda "fits" in more with the rest of the game IMO.
