I own a buzzard and hydra. Is there any reason to buy this heli or that other one? Not the one with just mech guns and is 1.8m (waste muchXD) why am I buyying just aircraft and no cars. I don't own any personal things over 625k. Should I just buy a insurgent pickup? Or that limo with a minigun that I never really see.(might be a reason why no one owns one. Unless your a vip but you can just get a buzzard out) i seen someone in a technical or whatever it is with the gun. Or should I be that guy and grind to the end for that 8m yaht that dose little to nothing. I take any ideas and think about them. You know pros cons etc. Anyhow thanks for reading this.

I have Buzzard, Savage, Valkyrie and Hydra. I spend my hard earned money on these vehicles (when they're on sale) since I literally can't sell them. With cars, I always end up selling them here and there. Right now, I have Armored Kuruma & Insurgent, I sold all the rest... Though by grinding mission I've been able to buy the Comet and Banshee )

 

Anyway where was I?? Ah yes, I wanted to say pretty much every vehicle has its moments...

 

Buzzard:

 

- Can be spawned near VIP during contract

- Great for sightseer

- Great for killing targets & moving missions

- Minigun

- Slow rocket fire rate

- Can change locked on targets

- Small & nimble

- Easy to control & land

- Has more armor then savage

- Can survive moderate crashes and hits

 

Savage:

 

- Freemode griefing

- Cannons

- Fast rocket fire rate

- Can change locked on targets

- Flips & explodes easily

- Very hard to dodge missiles

- Can't jump out in time while being fired a homing missile

- Very large (way bigger then I thought at first)

- Good for missions that involve allot of killings at the same place (LS connection?)

 

Hydra:

 

- Freemode griefing

- Cannons

- Slow rate missiles

- Easy to dodge missiles

- Quicker then Lazer

- Hover mode is sh*t

 

Valkyrie:

 

- Pilot can't shoot

- Best helicopter if filled with 4 players

- Only use if you have friends with you, or not worth it

- I never use it

 

So IMO:

 

Freemode: Hydra

VIP missions: Buzzard

6-man Contact missions: Savage

Certain contact missions: Buzzard/Hydra

 

If you're 4, all of the above for Valkyrie

 

So pretty much they all have a use, but only buy Valkyrie if you have friends, but if you do it's amazing

Them phone poles though I tapped one and half the wing fell off. Good thing for the ejection seats. But I'd like I have the time if the thing is failing on me to fly to the hydra spawn. But what's so good about the limo. Is it what bullet proof glass? Or is the gun stronger then the insurgents and that truck.

I don't have next gen friends so that one will be out of the question. But should I just buy a super car or something? I don't own any. Looks like I have to go with the savage. I seen some use it on hit them up. They die on the last part by using rockets to close to building.

I seen someone use it on the Los santos connection. He blew my armored kurma up. Though I use it for missions only. That thing can take a beating. Your truck can. It took 1-2 explosions. I got to drive it and the guy who owns it is on the gun. I don't know what's the best turret thing is. My guess is the insurgent for it holds 9 people and cheaper then the limo.

Sorry come off as a di*k but you will want them both (and probably all the other armed vehicles) in the end i'm sure... One word of advice though...get the yacht last :-)

I never really see a point for the yaht. But the guns that spawn on there for free ammo and get free kos from the Sam turrets.

Savage is a bit crappy for maneuverability. But you get basically no 'reload' time for missile, an explosive gun, and you can have 2 buddies jump in the back and fire whatever weapons they like including RPG's. Basically it's a less nimble version of the Buzzard with more offensive capability. Certainly not a bad purchase.

 

Valkyrie is all about having some buddies. You really only need someone to man the passenger seat cannon. The mini-guns have a rather unimpressive firing arc. The cannon however is a beast for destroying stuff in whatever missions you can use it in. You do have to mind the Valkyrie does have a rather large set of rotors and is fairly easy to damage.

 

Buzzard is the bog standard, but it's honestly pretty damn good. If it had the Lazer/Hydra/Savage gun, it'd be downright OP. One thing people don't take into account is that a co-pilot on the Buzzard can fire missiles with a fairly generous aiming area. So while it's already going to remain competitive with the other armed helicopters as a solo act. With a co-pilot it becomes really hard to beat in any sort of helicopter dog-fight, because you can fly circles around the Savage and have your friend aim the missile launcher.

 

IDK, I'd be hard pressed to say between the Savage/Insurgent pickup/Turret Limo that I don't use the Savage the most. If nothing else it's the best way to win Criminal Damage freemode events.

If you want to be more lean, go Hydra/Insurgent/Kuruma since the jet can do everything the choppers can once you master it (except for carrying other people) and the two ground vehicles give you strong counters to both laser-accurate NPCs and explosive-happy players.

Got all the aircraft you said but for the Valkyrie. Should I go for that or a a turret car?

So limo has strongest gun but 5 people only, the insurgent holds 9 idk about gun, then the truck holds 3 the gunner is so open to fire. Witch is the better one? I'm guessing the limo.

Missions? Sure. But they're awkward to use in free mode, and honestly, I don't think they're worth the effort.

Oh yeah, the Cargobob's lovely. If you have to go solo, you can rig cars with bombs and drop them on people, squash, etc.

 

I don't think it used to take so many missiles either - they buffed it around the heists update. Gives me hope they might one day buff the others. Ill - founded hope, but still hope.

Don't forget VIP Buzzards. They're always useful, if not in the way you mean.
