MCMXCII
I don't remember the first video game that I owned but one of the first video games that I remember playing was Lemmings on the PC. I was real little, like 3 or 4, when I played it. It's still one of my favorite games to this day.
chronic lumbago
Mortyr, a WW2/futuristic shooter which is a really awesome concept because the first half of the game you fight the SS and find a time machine mid game to fight nazi robots because Hitler won the war. A very underrated and unknown shooter. The second one was THPS2. Edited July 15, 2016 by fashion

RogerWho
Aww you youngsters and capitalists. My first game was a Russian knockoff of Game&Watch (you probably haven't heard of that either). This ridiculous thing: Though it might be that even before that I played an arcade shooting cabinet. It had you shoot 3 planes on a screen. Also Russian most likely, these days I wonder if it wasn't just analogue, but in fact mechanical instead of electronics. Edit: Ah I see someone had this already on the first page Edited July 18, 2016 by RogerWho Tycek
TCA
Cruis'n World on the Nintendo 64 at one of my childhood friend's house. The days of when you would blow into the cartridge when It wasn't working properly . I liked playing that in the arcade! Wish they were still relevant today. Glori4n
That's a very good question! I think it was Super Mario World, on my uncle's SNES haha! If it wasn't SMW, it was most-likely Pokémon Red or Blue...
Gay Tony
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on N64. Spent many hours upon hours exploring every nook and cranny of Hyrule Kingdom. The sense of adventure was outstanding, the music was outstanding, and the overall sense of wonder kept me coming back to this world for many of my childhood years after completing the game. JON22
Some helicopter game I played on my auntie's Atari. Had a switch on the console to make the game go faster. Think the helicopter sprite was orange. Also Qbert and Pacman.
D9fred95
Starsky & Hutch on PS2. Anyone remember that game? You had all of Bay City to explore and you had to keep doing cool driving maneuvers to keep your "ratings" up or you'd run out of time and fail. That's my real first game anyway, the first game I ever actually played was Super Mario Bros 3. SMB3 is great and all, but S&H was the game that actually got me into gaming proper. Eugene H. Krabs
My memory is vague when it comes to these kind of questions, but IIRC, my first ever video game was the 1983 Mario Bros. Edited August 3, 2016 by Cluckin' Bell
Fuzzknuckles
I think probably Pong. Or Adventure. Atari 2600. At least 20 years before most of you played your first game. Signatures are dumb anyway.

Daz
Whatever the f*ck was on this thing: I wouldn't even begin to tell you what the f*ck they were called because the thing barely ever worked. Other than those I would have to be unoriginal and say SMB1 on the NES like it was for many others. But this was simultaneously flanked by Ducktales and The Flinstones games. trip

I got that game when I was 7 and played it so much on my mother's PC! Back then alongside with Ford Racing 2 and Crazy Taxi (that one wasn't the complete version unfortunately) it was distributed for free as a gift in cereal boxes.
