bloatedsack
I am just a bit curious to know what other people played first, for me, it was Pokémon: Diamond on the DSlite On the TSR-80, even! Although we didn't have a fancy disk drive, that sh*t was cassette and it was a pain to use. Although, that was technically my brother's trash80, so going strictly to my first game: Actlikeyouknow

Vik
Not sure if this would count as a ''game'' or not, but the first video game I ever played was the V Smile : ''Alphabet Park Adventure'', which came in the bundle itself containing the console. My V-Smile still works to this day, and I have it under a cabinet that has a TV on top of it. Cartridges were $20 a pop during the time, nostalgia is real for it. I even had the portable too. I played the V-Tech ever since I was 1. Yeah, that wasn't a typo. Contrary to popular belief, the V Smile (TV Variant) helped me a lot, and I was able to skip Pre-School as a result of that. It's the OG version of it, the new version cut down on some ''intense'' sequences for little children which is quite stupid IMO. If that doesn't count as a video game, then Marvel: Rise of the Imperfects for my first game console (the PSP) was my first video game. I received it when I when the 1000 variant of the portable was released, which was in late 2004. I was 3 at the time, and I never was really introduced with 3D Models on a LCD screen, but being the toddler that I was I really enjoyed the portable, catching on only after 6 hours or so of usage. Me and my dad played it a lot as well and my fond love for Spider-Man kept on growing. Sadly, the USD that I had broke, and my PSP is so glitchy nowadays turning on and off randomly, so I don't use it a lot anymore. If I have some spare money later down the line I might get the 3000 variant with some games, since that portable was awesome. The game didn't come with the box sadly, so i always had to keep it in the travel box accessory. Edited March 5, 2016 by Vik

Goldn-Bayse
I played a couple of those stupid learnig games on PC when I was really young but my first legit game(s) would have to be Jet Set Radio Future and Sega GT 2002 on the original Xbox. Tycek
I should be a bit ashamed of myself, but I can't really recall what was my first video game. I strongly believe it was Shadow Dancer on my newly acquired Amiga 600, though. I never had the chance to finish the game as the spring that was used in floopy disk cover broke one day, making the disk unusable. My first portable game was definitely russian copy of the Game & Watch called commonly "Russian Eggs," which was very popular around here in the late '80s/early '90s.
