How does kicking work?

Been in loads of contact missions where we've needed to kick someone but all it does it show the kick symbol and nothing happens.

 

Is it a minimum amount to kick? Does the host have majority power? Is it a percentage of the room? How does it work?

Room majority. But i think there has to be at least 4 or 5 people . Or maybe 3 if both other people vote youd be kicked kinda thing.

Depending on the amount of players it should 3 or 4 people of its 6 or 8.

Yea it's room majority but you will need to ask other people to kick them.

 

I have had people tell me they won't kick them because we will get a higher payout at the end.

 

But you can always kick them in the mission start menu before starting the next job which is what I usually do now.

It's an aquired skill. You have to dance for ten seconds be for attacking without being hit.

the other day i had a freeloader in one of my missions, so i asked the other 4 players to kick him from the mission, instead of using the kick option, they when and literaly kicked the guy...

 

funny how this far into the game people still dont know how to kick vote.

I will literally kick anyone who either; is an idiot during contact races (not including GTA)or who freeloads in missions and other things and people who troll public sessions.
