How Do I Unlock Trevor Missions?

If you play Martin missions with random low-levels you see his entry cutscene every now and again.

Madrazo tells you about gang attacks around the city but he does that in a phone call, no cutscene. I think the first time you even see Madrazo in Online is when you get the cutscene at the end of one of his contact missions.

I've done the one in the POL depot next to Zancudo, but not the one on the beach.

I finally found it, it's the mission crystal clear out! After doing that mission you will get a call from Ron and after that call the crate drop is unlocked. 

 

The reason mine was locked is because Rockstar had my account reset after some modder disabled it. So I had a green V at the mission but didn't play it since the rest.

I don't think they removed it, there would be no reason to. I think it's just the spawn chance for it is very low, some of them have lower chances while some have higher chances, like the ones at Sandy and Grapeseed airfields.

I'm having the same trouble at the minute. I created my first character then a second but deleted the first one. I skipped the intro cutscene with Lamar on my second character, never got the phone call from Lamar to rob the store, no phone call from Simeon about getting your own car and buying a garage, Lester didn't call about meeting at his house but rang about meeting at his warehouse for the Heists, Ron hasn't called yet but Dom has, Brucie has and Martin did about Gang Attacks. I'm level 25 and don't want to restart again

Have you tried starting contact missions through the Jobs menu yet?

Not for Ron or Lester yet I might have to in order to get Ron to call me about messing up. I've already been to see Lester at his warehouse so I'm not sure that'll prevent me from going to his house, although he does call about meeting near his house for the Doomsday Heist and text me about meeting in Mirror Park.

Im level 60, I have all the contacts and I've done Gerald's mission meth'd up. But I only have very few Lester and Merryweather abilities. I keep seeing you need to watch Trevor's cutscenes. I also have Ron as a contact but no T on my map and can't trigger the cutscenes for Trevor or the one to point Lester at his personal home. It's very aggravating because I was almost level 400 on my old account and never found any of these issues. I've also seen it could be from leveling up too quickly if you do alot of mission when you first start online .

After so many years, I found a definitive answer to this problem.

Ok, so when you turn level 12 or so Ron will call you after you do any kind of Gerald mission or mess around Blaine County. Doing this, Ron will call you, showing the big T in the map, when you go there, (and there comes the problem) the game doesn't show anything else, only a text-job from Ron, if you miss this, you will think this is glitched, that's what happened to me, so I called Ron again and requested the jobs from there, you do some, and then Trevor starts calling/texting to do their jobs. Easy as that. Whenever you have problems with this, always call the npc that gives u the mission or check if you have a mark in the map from the character available.

Btw, it seems like in the last updates this missions theme has been changed drastically. Now, you can only get job invites in your phone from Gerald, Martin or other 3rd party player, in rare cases you may get Ron, but I think his job invites may be bugged. Nowadays, easiest way to access Trevor and Ron missions is requesting them via calling Ron, searching quick jobs or from pause menu. Also, I started a character after the April update, and now you don't even get the Survival tutorial that Ron used to give you, so I believe they want the new players to do the new missions instead of the ones that were since the release of the game. Also, this works for Lamar old missions, because he also doesn't text the player anymore, his old missions are only available from pause menu.
