How Do I Unlock Trevor Missions?

I have been searching the internet and can't find anything that reveals this. I am level 70.

I had this problem a long time a go. I think you have to wait for Ron to call you, do a few of his missions, and then he will introduce you to Trevor.

I presume you went to speak to Trevor when that came up (think it is about level 12 when that happens)? If not there should be a T at his trailer in Sandy Shores so go to that if it is there and you haven't done that.

 

Regardless of that, just keep an eye out on your job invites. If one doesn't appear via Trevor himself, another player may very well be looking for players on one, so join them. The missions should then be listed on your job list to replay as you choose.

 

Just make a note of the missions you are looking for and watch for invites. Pretty sure there will be a list of his missions somewhere in these forums.

I've never been to see Trevor, wasn't aware he popped up at level 12. This is my second character you see so I've just focused on levelling up quick.

 

I've been waiting for days for a call from Ron but have not received one. Is there anyway to trigger the Trevor event again?

You meet Ron after doing some Gerald missions and then Trevor shortly after doing some Ron missions. All of these missions must be done by accepting an invitation sent by the contact themselves to your phone, rather than by another player or using the Jobs menu. It's vital to do so in order to progress through the story.

I don't know what point of the 'online story' I'm at. I don't get any calls or texts about jobs from contacts. However, I do have Brucie, Dom, Gerald, Lamar, Lester, Martin, Ron and Simeon all in my phone contacts.

 

I just don't get it.

How can I progress through the story though when I am not receiving any phone calls or texts?

I thought it was Ron's mission Base Invaders that triggered Trevor.

Try calling Ron while in Sandy Shores to see if he sends that mission.

That doesn't work. Any mission Ron gives me I complete then just back to hearing nothing from any of my contacts.

Try doing the mission Meth'd Up, from Gerald. It's a mission where you steal a Journey from Trevor, it might trigger his missions.

I didnt meet Trevor but sometimes i get some missions from him, this started after i do some of his missions, dont know if there is a specif one..

Trevor will not appear as a phone contact. Occasionally, he will text you a mission. If you have Ron as a contact, then you have unlocked Trevor.

'Crate Drops' are still locked in my stats.

 

As I said I'm receiving no phone calls so how can I tell which part of the 'online story' I am on?

There are tonnes of posts I've found through Google search of people asking this same question but nobody has provided an answer.

That's why I gave up playing single player. It seemed all glitched up, couldn't buy properties as Michael either.

Ron calls you first at level 12 iirc and asks you to meet Trevor. You get a cutscene of Trevor having a meltdown pushing his weight around then he tells you to gtfo from his trailer from there on you should get the missions.

 

 

Problem is this game is so bugged that some missions won't trigger. So best way to work around that, is to pay attention to the phone mission message to see who's the one giving it. As everyone else mentioned.

Madrazo tells you about gang attacks around the city but he does that in a phone call, no cutscene. I think the first time you even see Madrazo in Online is when you get the cutscene at the end of one of his contact missions.

Martin sends you to do gang attacks. Ron welcomes you at Trevor's trailer.

Sure it wasn't survival?  Iirc Trevor notified me about survivals but my memory might play tricks with me

Pretty sure it's gang attacks.

There's still one I haven't done, perhaps 1 or 2 more I haven't found.

I've never done survivals.

The rarest gang attack that happens in free roam occurs near the Fort Zancudo bunker. It happens just south on the beach and involves fighting army dudes. A lot of people have never fought this one.
