I used to own one until I got the T20, so I may or may not have a few things a little off, but...

1. Speed is excellent, acceleration good. Overall handling could be a lot better, it takes skill to beat certain other supers in it, but it's definitely possible. The main attraction for me was how fun it was to drive.

2. Better traction

3. I love it, but it isn't all too special. If customised right, it can look beautiful.

4. A retractable spoiler like the T20 has would be good, and the ability to pick the interior colour would absolutely be amazing on this car.

5. For me it was, but I loved the way it looks and how well it represents its real life counterpart (compared to other GTA vehicles). As mentioned before, the handling could be better, but what made it worthwhile for me was how fun it was to drive.

6. Yes.

 

The Adder got a lot of hate back in the day for being the go-to car for children to ruin with chrome and dollar rims and such, which they did for one simple reason: it was the most expensive car. Don't get influenced by this blind hate, because it isn't as much about the car itself as it is about how the kiddies used it. Many people still pretend to hate it to this day. Try to separate that hate from actual criticism on the car.

Pretty slow acceleration and a realy bad turning radius.

It sticks on the ground not that badley though, can handle curbs, is easy to control mid air...it just has a horible understeer.

Also seeing the acceleration is not that high while the top speed is it can be sometimes hard to estimate the right moment to break

 

The thing woud need better acceleration and maybe better traction(i dislike the idea every car shoud handle like it drives on rails but yea...it underperforms)

 

It kinda looks boring and on top of that it has a lack of customisation options.

I do think it looks better then the real thing tho

 

This thing coud use wraps, a selection of racing stripes, a spoiler and maybe some skirt options.

 

In its current state its overpriced compared with other super cars.

Especialy on new gen were it has no single purpose anymore at all.

 

Yes it is in the right class, it just has the wrong performance

it's a waste of a million dollars now, and in my opinion always has been compared to the Entity from day one, and the Zentorno now in the <$1m price range.

 

I would rather drive a Cheetah.

1 - It's fine the way it is, the Veyron is not exactly a corner hugger;

 

2 - I wouldn't modify anything about it, except maybe make the top speed 10 MPH higher so it could compete with 900R and be the fastest car in the game(like it should be);

 

3 - It needs improvements, such as adding reverse lights, blinkers and an active spoiler a la T20;

 

4 - Active aero should come as standard and that's about it;

 

5 - It should be more expensive, about 3 million more or less, keeping in inline with the new cars;

 

6 - Yes, it represents a Veyron and considering how the cars are balanced in that class, it does well in there.

It was good until the t20(?) dropped. Top speed needs to be increased to be on par with it's nearest rival.

The Adder, a difficult question.
Let me start saying that I hated the Adder, from the first days where it was the go to car for every kid which put chrome and some obnoxious crew colour on it, paring that with dollar-whitewalls and pretending it was the fastest car in the game for racing, which clearly was the Entity.

I also disliked its real life counterpart, the Veyron for being the "whats your favourite car xD? top comment" on every Youtube video. But things have changed since then. I learned to like, or at least, accept the Veyron for what it is: the worlds fastest GT-type car, not a sportscar, but a very fast GT in which you could take longer tours in comfort.

A technical marvel on lots of things which werent a standard back when it was made. Together with this, the Adder ingame looks much better than the Veyron irl, at least in my opinion.

The best thing that might have happened to the Adder tho, is that is got a unique engine sound on Current Gen/PC. A unique one which sounds decent!

All this stuff, plus us having 100 garage slots over two characters right now made me concider getting an Adder, and I would have done so, if it werent for its dreary interior being recycled from the F620, and the possibility of it having trash in it (well, an iFruit and an air-refresher, at least), which is just stupid and destroys the car for my OCD-ness.

 

To your questions now:

1. The car handles well, as others said though, it has a tendecy to understeer, but it is kind of fitting its theme. Its acceleration is not the best in class, but its topspeed still makes it the third fastest car in the game, just behind the Z-Type, and the now still-kinda-bugged 900R.

2. I dont think I'd change much about the car, just giving it a traction bonus with a spoiler (a moving one, like the T20 maybe), would put it high up into the Supers again, I'd say.

3. As i said above, the Adder looks fine, better than the Veyron. It lacks some tuning options in LSC, maybe to make it more Supersport-ish and a moving spoiler/airbrake, but besides that, its fine.

4. Like above, maybe some carbon parts/Veyron Supersports inspired tuning, and a moving spoiler.

5. Seeing the prices of the other vehicles in GTAO nowadays (I'm looking at you, Benny) its price is fine. As long as you just want it for cruising or maybe Topspeed challenges, get it. If you want to go racing, get a Zentorno and fully mod it up for that money.

6. The Adder is in the right class, how else would you describe a Veyron other than as a Super-, or even Hypercar? There are diffrent vehicles in the game which are in the wrong class (Blista Compact, Moonbeam, Sultan RS, Banshee 900R, etc) the Adder not being one of them.

 

Tl:dr? The Adder used to be hated and overused. Nowadays with many diffrent cars available, it being rather rare, and also getting a unique engine sound on CG/PC, its a nice cruiser with a decent topspeed. Dont use it in races tho.

2. some added downforce on the rear would probably be all it needed

3. looks are fine. Just a car, not a lover

4. Don't care about cosmetics that don't have an effect on performance

5. Seems about right vs. real world

"It was good till the t20 dropped" A car stands on its own for review. If some asked for best race car, then a comparison would be in order.

It drives like it should, not so good cornering and a very high top speed although it should be faster then the Z-Type imo. The real spoiler would help.

Nothing

Should have a movable spoiler like the T20 as the Veyron has it too irl.

Standard movable Spoiler like T20 with slightly added traction.

5. Do you think this vehicle is good for the price in GTA Online?

It was the most expensive super as it should be but the Osiris and T20 are so much more expensive that I think it's all wrong anyway now.

Well, the Veyron should be a Hypercar, but since all Hypercars in this game are balanced with the supers anyway I think their in the right class.

Well it can corner. That's about it. Turning radius is very poor, as is expected for a very heavy all-wheel-drive vehicle. In terms of steering feel, it's lacking. And I often bash cars for that, it's a huge turnoff. Speed is disappointing, I mean this car is supposed to be based on one of the fastest cars in the world? Acceleration is a complete and utter joke. Like they didn't even try to make it seem as fast as the Veyron Super Sport. Why are lesser super cars - in theory at least - way quicker to 60? It drives like a Bentley and it's about as fast as one. And I don't mean that in a good way.

 

2. If you could modify the handling, what would you do? (Better traction, more acceleration, etc)

Oh yeah I'd modify the handling. Traction isn't a problem for me and I actually prefer less traction as powerslides are a hobby of mine but of course it just wouldn't suit the Adder. I'd make it way quicker and I'd also make the steering heavier for better feel. Max out the top speed too.

 

3. What's your opinion of this vehicles look?

Well, it's increasingly apparent that they didn't try very hard. Flat sticker mesh grills, missing backup lights, a slot for a motorized rear spoiler that doesn't even open. It has a cut n paste interior out of an Obey 9F. That's just flaws and overlooks. Overall I find the front fascia to be uninspired and too similar to the Lampadati Felon. I also think it's too narrow of a car and needs to be fattened. There also needs to be far more original secondary paint options because those stripes look like something some wank would install on their riced out Honda Civic.

 

4. If you could change customization for this car, what would you add or remove? (Spoilers, rollcage, etc)

First, give it a functioning spoiler. Then I'd add a f*ck ton of customization options. This is based on one of the most exclusive modern cars on the market. So tertiary paint options. Quaternary paint options. More aero bits. Carbon fiber bits. Colored carbon fiber. This car should have the most exclusive mod options. Mansory. C'mon. I'm not even a Veyron fanatic and yet I know that it's supposed to be a very special car.

 

5. Do you think this vehicle is good for the price in GTA Online?

Absolutely not. But then again I think it's a poor product. The max I would pay for it is $100 grand but, obviously, that's not realistic.

 

6. Do you think this vehicle was placed in the correct class? (Super, sports, sedans, etc)

The Supers Category? Yes. Doesn't mean anything though.

 

So what we have here is yet another sublime concept that's been poorly executed. It's unacceptable.

 

Oh, and I commend you on this topic. I like it. Would be cool to review other cars this way.
