I've been waiting for a sale on the Annihilator helicopter for some time so I'm definitely going to snap that up tonight. Can't wait to use it on Denial of Service.

They did discounts on Benny's, I think it was a few weeks after the LowRiders dlc came out.

There was a 25% discount on Upgrading the cars to a LowRider spec ... I got my Buccaneer Custom during that period.

Airport Parking. As the bodyguard team. Set to one round. Pick up guy, call Lester for a chopper. If he gives you a Buzzard, play Buzzard vs 48 shots of a pistol. Get rewarded with the same money you get for a 1x money contact mission. It's awesome. Weed Killer is also great, especially 1vs1. 48 pistol shots vs 20 Ballas with micro SMGs + the other player. Or Crooked Cop with a Lester chopper. Wait 15 minutes in the sky until all other players left..

Seriously, G-Rating Hot is okay, everything else is horrible. They are like Rhino Hunt. Created in two minutes and never tested. To be honest, I haven't seen anyone else but me doing the Lester stuff. Found that out by accident when my second character was a lowlevel and I had a VS mission as daily objective.

This would be way better. You could make a playlist with decent creations. And you can pickup weapons!! After you do a VS mission, you get more than likely only adversary modes on the voting screen. You can't even grind this sh*t if you want to. I thought 2x money on searaces was the worst, then came Rhino Hunt and now this. I rather do searaces for 4K.

I am really puzzled as to why the penthouses are only at Eclipse. The layouts of all the others are exactly the same and you already have the outer views in the game. Only thing I can think of is that it will expand to other spots and the hope is people will see this as yet another reason to upgrade (the drip system).

Save your money; it's bulky, slow, and has no rockets. Get the Buzzard instead: it's faster, more agile, and has rockets, which are way more useful for DoS and other missions.

Smart man. No rush to buy that Yacht. Keep grinding and saving.

We have no idea what R* is working on so accumulate that money. If you already have an apartment, no need for a new one, wait for the discounts.

And if they don't come, well you will have saved enough to buy two penthouses so spending the retail price won't sting so bad.

And yes properties do go on discount, usually weeks after new ones are released, if I'm not mistaken. Patience and grinding pay off lovely. I own mostly everything (with two characters) and usually sit on 20M, currently at 24M and look forward to the Double Cash VS Missions this weekend, I know they pay horribly but it's still extra money and some of those missions are fun.

I think he's going for fun, not efficiency. The 'nihilator can be amusing and always looks good.

However even then, it only keeps interest for those certain people for so long.

For people that have been playing this game since release, we generally have enough money for anything we want.

While the 2x Contact Missions & VIP work were interesting, nothing new is coming from these additional 2x events for veteran players.

At this point all these old Elita's aircraft have already been purchased by those that want them.

 

So really this extended series of 2x events is more for the newer players than to keep the old players.

I made millions during the 2x VIP event, exercising & doing other stuff in-between the 10 minute cooldowns of Sightseer.

Seeing these additional modes up for 2x now has practically no appeal, I've played them all before ALOT.

Simply adding 2x doesn't add anything new to the gameplay.

 

That's why I assume R* hasn't made their next DLC release yet, they are timing it to compete when The Division is out.

Also F4's Automatron DLC is coming very soon, so another reason R* is waiting.

It would be silly for R* to add their new content a week or so before those 2 big events occur.

 

So in a way, R* is trying to keep players active with these 2x events until they release their own DLC.

The parent company of R* doesn't like these 2x events btw, they love (& even gloat) about Shark Cards.

 

So it's a 2 fold event:

- R* trying to keep people interested with these 2X events.

- R* trying to make people spend their 2X earnings on already existing vehicles with the sales.

= Thus hoping most players that are kept interested will resort to Shark Cards when the new content is released.
