What's so good about Los Santos Rock Radio?

LSRR has a few nice songs - "Rain" by The Cult might be my favorite. but i really miss K-DST ... San andreas' soundtrack was so much better. had great times cruising to "running down a dream" or "horse with no name". In GTAV/O there are only a few songs per station worth listening in my opinion.

Whenever someone asks what people's favorite radio stations in GTA Online are on any site, Los Santos Rock Radio seems to get the most mentions, usually by a long way too.

 

While I think We Built This City is pretty catchy, the rest of the songs sound bland for me. So, what makes this station so appealing to the players?

 

We Built this City is a travesty. If Hitler and Mussolini collaborated on some song writing, this is what they'd come up with.

One of the best songs in the game.

'I Don't Care Anymore' is definitely the worst song in that station.

 

No, We Built This City is the worst. Truly awful. An insult to those of us blessed with the gift of hearing. It's one of the worst pieces of crap ever!

Best station in game. it's on in my cars a good 90 percent of thetime. and as I said in the worst song in game thread,.. the first person to trash Circle in the sand gets a kick to the stones. I love Belinda Carlisle.

I can't believe you guys couldn't smell such a BIG bait.

 

Music is something very personal, connected to our experience, sensibilites, memories and alludes to our artistic and creative vein. I like the music I like, you could argue that's it motives are complex and therefore interesting from a proper musician's point of view, but I like what I like and I don't expect anyone to understand that.

 

You can't just convey a feeling by linking a YouTube video.

I love music from the 60s 70s and 80s and not much modern stuff. LSRR is just as good for me as LRR Flash Fm and KDST

then K-DST then V-Rock and etc.

Although I love Peace of Mind it's wicked

 

Also whenever I hear Cats in the Cradle it hits me in the feels. Usually if I'm not doing anything big and just roaming in the game I get off and spend time with my dad. At work? I'll call him up and just say hi.

I'd hate if my life turned out the way of the one in Cats in the Cradle.

I actually thought Liberty Rock was so much better than Los Santos Rock Radio. I don't completely dislike LSRR; Loggins is a decent host, there's some good songs, but I feel as though it is 80s overloaded. The 80s were my least favourite decade for music. I know, I know, I'm sorry. And please forgive me, but 'We Built This City' is one of my least favourite songs of all time. Every time I hear it, I feel as though my head is going to implode. To each their own, I suppose, but I hated that song even back in the 80s.

 

However, LSSR does have 'Roundabout' by Yes, and that is easily one of my favourite songs of all time.

I listen to Los Santos Rock Radio because the music on that because it has a classic rock/oldies vibe and I grew up listening to that stuff. Now if only Rockstar added Sultans of Swing, my life will be complete.

It's the best station for me ever.

I listen to it in the real world when riding my bike around town.

I feel like i'm the only kid that cares for rock music and that's cause I've had pretty great parents that grew me up to actual "music" that took no autotune. I just HATE it tho when someone my age doesn't like rock. They'll change it to West Coast Classics when What A Fool Believes is playing and I empty personal vehicle and shotgun to their face.
