What's so good about Los Santos Rock Radio?

In my case, this is the closest radio station to like it as a whole. There are some songs I can't stand listening to or are misplaced and ended up in this station ( Circle in the Sand ) but overall, a majority of LSRR songs is enjoyable to me (including Circle in the Sand).

However, I find the lack of metal station disturbing.

The only complaint I have about Rock Radio is that they need to add more awesome songs, otherwise it's awesome, rock always turns me on and pumps me up, it's absolute quality music and and pure art.

I (shamefully) had never heard of some of the songs on LSRR, but at least Rockstar is bringing these songs to new generations. I bought Carry On Wayward Son and Peace of Mind. Already knew about CCR's Fortunate Son, but I still listen when it comes on

Whenever someone asks what people's favorite radio stations in GTA Online are on any site, Los Santos Rock Radio seems to get the most mentions, usually by a long way too.

 

While I think We Built This City is pretty catchy, the rest of the songs sound bland for me. So, what makes this station so appealing to the players?

It may be one of the weaker rock stations in GTA history, but its the only classic rock station that GTA 5 offers. As for why, I like classic rock, what more needs to be said. Most of the stuff I listen to doesn't get played in games. GTA 4 did with The Ballad of Gay Tony DLC (The DJ Paul segment of Vladivostok FM). My music taste does vary a bit.

I just realized who the OP was, man it really isn't a surprise that a weeaboo doesn't like classic rock. I bet he wants a j-pop station.

LSRR plays classic rock,what's not to like about that.To be honest,I would like if it had some more classic rock and hard rock and maybe even some classic metal,and a bit less soft rock and pop rock.However,some songs from old gen and many songs added on new gen (like Fortunate Son by CCR,Gimme All your Lovin' by ZZ Top,Piece of Mind by Boston and some others) are great and are much better quality than most if not all other music in GTA 5,so it's my favorite station in game.Also,Kenny Loggins is doing a good job as a DJ.

Also,let's not forget that rock and roll from the 50s (which is an original form of rock music) had some very famous black musicians like Chuck Berry and Little Richard,and hispanic musicians like Ritchie Valens,so it's not just white people who like rock.

It's one of the few stations with decent songs (I prefer Radio Mirror Park in this game anyway). However, I don't like half of it since I'm not into the whole "power pop" thing; I'd much rather see hard rock from the likes of Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, and Rainbow, or even metal from the likes of Iron Maiden. The new songs on the station were a much-needed improvement for a rather soft rock station for GTA standards.

Because everything else is sh*t. Especially West Coast Classics. Why would I want to listen to 2Pac rap about drugs and hoes. Los santos radio is stupid too.

 

The only good radio stations in this game are LS Rock radio and space 103.2. Everything else is sh*t.

It's just happens to be the absolute perfect radio station to rock out (and probably sing along to) whilst cruising along the long vast highways of the huge city of Los Santos to the beautiful countryside of Blaine County, my personal favorites from the station are "Simple Minds - All The Things She Said" and "Belinda Carlise - Circle in the Sand", although i was quite pissed when i found out that they had to cut out Crowded House's It's Only Natural during GTA V's development which is just a shame because that is my #1 favorite classic rock band, damn you for that R*
