The number you choose will be which slot the save file will appear in from the 'Load Game' screen within GTA III. Once downloaded, you'll need to put this file in the 'GTA3 User Files' folder in My Documents for it to work in game. The same website has Save Files for all PC GTA Games. You can find the 100% Save Files you want for VC and SA here: Vice City: http://gtasnp.com/browse/index/gtavc_pc/1/save_progress/desc San Andreas: http://gtasnp.com/browse/index/gtasa_pc/1/save_progress/desc With Vice City, you'll need to make sure the save file is compatible with Steam. When you have clicked one of the links and taken to a screen like the above, check where it says "Release Version" at the top and ensure it says 'Steam (Windows)' or else it will not work. Did you check that they said 'Steam (Windows)' next to release version, assuming you have the Steam Version of Vice City? Try this save file which is for the Steam Version of the game, there a lot of Retail Only Saves on the page I linked you to so it is likely you downloaded one that was not compatible. The files will need to be put in the 'GTA Vice City User Files' folder once they have downloaded and should then appear in game and work fine. Everytime I try to adjust the graphics with the save game it just hangs. These ports are so f*cking terrible. Frustrating as hell. I'm just about to give up on the old GTA's for PC.
