IF MY OPINION DOESN'T MATCH UP WITH YOURS THEN TELL ME YOUR OPINION ON THE GRAPHICS!

I recently realised that GTA V on the PC is not as realistic as I thought it would be at the start, I thought it would have, better coloring on the roads and a better graphics, yes yes yes, there is anti aliasing but it's undenyable on how the games graphics pretty much looked the same but not too different, just a bit of change were made about the pc version, but personally I was dissapointed about the FPS I was getting, like 60 on max and minimum 30, I just wanted a bit more tentions from Rockstar

AND FOR F*CKS SAKES ROCKSTAR GAMES, MAKE THE GRASS HAVE SOME TYPE OF OPTIMIZATION!!! OR FIX IT!!!!!

Looks amazing to me but im playing with everything on ultra, let me guess, you have a potato of a PC and expected the game to look better than PS4+Xbox1?

I agree, graphics are amazing. Though I am the first to admit that the PS3/360 versions are NOWHERE NEAR as nice as the next gen and PC versions!

Is there a particular area you're talking about? If you're playing on PC, you can fix this pretty easily.

Just more color would be cool, but graphics and sweetfx mods help resolve this :)

By the way, I was asking for your PC specs, not settings.

No, I got a 980, playing everything on max (Counting MSAA)

I use FXAA on 4K. Where did you get the impression that the PC version would look realistic? The art style is consistant across generations/platforms.

Sorry, but it looks and feels brilliant, to me. I agree on the part regarding the grass, they really hurt the FPS on highest settings. The fix to that is to install sone mods that offer some optimized solutions.

I agree. I don't know what the OP is seeing, but it sure ain't what I'\m seeing. I think the colors are vibrant and jump off the screen!

I am no a graphics expert, though, so what you guys are saying about the grass may be true. Its just not something on my radar, to \be honest.

What settings option makes the game look ugly like FXAA, I tried finding it

This really isn't an appropriate question in the console section. Requested a move to PC.

Signatures are dumb anyway.

If AA is of such huge importance, use SSAA. MSAA is more taxing than it's worth, and the difference between 2x and 4x is negligable. Maxing out settings in most games is usually a waste of frame rate, which isn't an issue with the game. Know your GPU's limits and work within those confines. Hell, even me using FXAA at 3840x2160 is kind of a waste, but the frame rate isn't impacted too much for it to matter.

By the way, I noticed you had a laptop, which means your 980 is a 980m, which is very different in performance terms to 980. Thermal throttling being one of the major factors. The 980m is substantially less powerful than the 980 desktop counterpart.

So a laptop with "everything" maxed, the game doesn't have color and looks sh*tty. Hmm...

Ah, I assumed it was going to be a TN panel lmao. Try adjusting the color settings in the GeForce control panel.

Regarding the "grass optimization" the problem is not the grass but the MSAA,
MSAA is very taxing with little result I recommend frame scaling to replace AA methods, it looks and runs better.

Regarding the graphics, in my honest opinion the graphics look very decent, lighting effects, visual fidelity, distance scaling etc.

however I have one quarrel with the graphics, the Textures, i think they are too low res(even on highest settings), but I realize that current tech does not allow open world games to have even better Texture quality.

I think overall its a good port, but only if you have up-to-date software, allways when I forget to update Windows 10, GTA Vs performance gets worse, but when I update again the performance is back up again.

If you look closly up the walls in the game it is very unclear and they dont have quality to it

Wall textures are better affected by anisotropic filtering which can be run at max (x16) fairly easy. This will improve texture quality at angled viewing. Tessellation will add greater depth and clarity to walls. Running max AA because walls appear blurry is not the answer.

If you're talking about the generally low res textures, there are mods available.

Or are you telling me you have a "980"? Because it says in the title of the product page that it's a 980m, meaning "mobile". Laptops don't have the capability or power to run desktop-class GPUs. Yes I know, its only noticeable in first person or certain camera angles, but its an open world game, and therefor has some limitations in terms of texture quality which come with it, I think its fine overall though.

And graphics overall also look very good in my opinion, especially the draw distance.

Never for me, it's much colorful and superb better than GTA IV, that's all, nothing's dissapointing.

I too have a problem with GTAV's colors and graphics. Maybe the game looks realistic when played at Ultra settings but I don't have that powerful system, I can only speak for myself here. I don't like V's graphics because they are too cartoonish. When I turn everything up that I am able to without exceeding VRAM, it makes the game even more Cartoon Network. For instance I can't stand the graphics when I play with: 16x AF, AO enabled, FXAA enabled - they only seem to make graphics uglier. That's why I prefer to play with everything off, for textures are much more natural this way.
