As a half-assed Porsche enthusiast, I second this.

 

BUT, the Comet still gets beaten against a properly set up Rapid GT or a Banshee if the driver knows what he/she is doing.

 

And if I'm not mistaken, the Blade is the kong at the 1/4 mile(needs more testing)

It's called slamming and there are video guides on how to do it on Youtube. A fun little trick that is worthless in a proper competitive racing scenario.

What race do people use to do testing? They make their own races? I've been wanting to test my cars. My Comet (and Banshee and Carbonizarre and Elegy and Blade etc) FEELS quick, but not as quick as my Turismo. That thing is hyper.

 

Also, my Akuma. I've got a Houkouchou (sic) and a Bati 801 (Sprunk ftw) and now a Ruffian, but they have nothing on my crazy Akuma in a drag race just going by my seat of the pants impression.

The Banshee 900R is the reigning drag king, unless you count slamming, in which case the Rapid GT vaporizes everything.

 

In any case, the Comet is going to choke on exhaust gas.

Imo Comet has the best handling of any car in the game..

Edit. Then again saying inexperience has zero to do with handling is pretty laughable anyway, I don't know why I even bothered replying
