it's so difficult to have a decent dogfight in this game

The most fun I have dogfighting is winding up hydras with a besra until they take the bait and then taking them low and into built up areas until they crash. Should be able to add hydra stickers to the besras fuselage for kills taken in this way.

 

 

Before I get flamed I fly hydras too

 

I'm guilty of being stupid enough to fall for this! Chase a jet all the way down the map just to see a Besra

 

 

I do this all the time in the city center where the skyscrapers are located. It's also fun using the Besra's climb performance to pull away from Hydras while they steadily lose airspeed and can't keep up, a tactic useful in Lazer vs. Hydra as well.

 

The other day, I got into my Hydra at the same time another guy showed up at the helipad to spawn his jet, and not being in the mood for a ground fight I used passive mode before he could take a shot, then headed up north to join up with my friend in Paleto Bay. The other guy obviously didn't take well to that, because he ignored several defenseless helicopters and followed me all the way to the other end of the map while trying to shoot rockets and cannon rounds at me. Since he obviously wasn't going to leave me alone, I turned around and entered a mock dogfight with him as though I was going to break passive mode, and after flying right through him a couple times I broke off and went inverted about 10 feet above the water. While trying to still shoot me, he ended up crashing into the water, and he spent the next 10 minutes swimming back to shore while my friend and I did stunts above him.

When u dogfight a good pilot it takes a lot to kill the enemy, it would take like 5 minutes to get ONE kill, and it would ruin the DF community... I'm ok with the way it is now.

 

Hmm, I think we should just ruin the whole flyboy community. Maybe ban the film "Top Gun", that should stop them reproducing.
