Insurgent (Unarmed) worth it?

I already have an insurgent pick-up and now im thinking should i get an unarmed version ( for protection from jets and rpgs) is it worth it also how is the performance?

Love it for just general driving around, for heists sometimes, for avoiding jets and police, for ramming capabilities. It's generally very useful and fun.

Technically no but it's hard to get hit from the rear.

It's amazing. Get one now. You can survive at least squeaker strafe and go from there. Either go to safehouse and wait it out until school starts for them or call in friends to destroy them.

It's mostly BP. You can still be shot through the little rear window through certain angles, but you're practically BP from the back unless you're staying still.

 

It should also be noted that it's quite fun to drive, boasting incredible off-road power and traction, being nearly invulnerable to collisions and having enough mass to bulldoze traffic out of your way.

Stay in Los Santos, stay on the move and hug some walls, and maybe repair at LSC once in a while in the off chance that you got hit.

First time i drove that thing, i blocked all the traffic in a tunnel, started throwing grenades untill i got 5 stars and everything was a chaos.

now let me explain the pros and cons

 

 

pros :

~ a military-class vehicle that appears to be pegasus vehicle , but turns out to be personal vehicle , allowing some modifications

~ as agent 14 said " Fast , armored 4x4 . perfect for city riot and civilian interest "

~ the insurgent's durability is ideal aganist sticky bombing zentornos

~ in addition great offroading capabilities

~ the bodywork never deform , even if you destroy it , the wreck still can't be deformed

~ it has a incredible mass , fitting role of armored vehicle . it can continue moving even while pushing few vehicle unlike kuruma . the mass also oddly prevents the insurgent being hooked by cargobob , despite weight less than rhino tank

~ like granger , it has side rails allow 2 passenger to hang on sides

 

cons :

~ the window is large and it's not bullet resistant

~ the back of the insurgent are actually can be shot through , which can harm the occupant

~ it's not strong as rhino tank so it takes about 2 cannon shells to destroy one

~ even in unarmed variant , the icon still use pickup variant

~ sensitive in air , at which prone to bad landing

~ the lack of deformation makes difficult to tell the insurgent's damage ( aside doors , windshield and engine )

It's fully worth it, you have the option of a fully armoured personal carrier that pretty much nothing can stop. GET IT.
