Using the police station heli in heists

Every time someone uses a helicopter, usually they show up too late. Me and two others usually clear out the area in the Pac Standard setup with Avi while every time someone has a chopper, they just barely make it to the island.

It's so easy to lose the cops when you just park your car next to the seasharks that are close to the island. To each their own, though.

Starting at Eclipse i usually get to the island when team mates are just getting to the second set of sea sharks (i also like to be the first one there as i can land without being fired on also) but the real benefit to the chopper is in the second part of the mission as you get avi to the objective much quicker than using a PV.

The point of the helicopter is not to get to the island quickly. That's not impressive. The point of the helicopter is to get him to the end very quickly and safely, with minimal threat to anyone.
