ADI Fix?

Hi all sorry if this is in the wrong topic, but I was wondering if someone has been able to figure this out. Basically the little attitude indicator in the aircraft cockpits moves very erratically and in the wrong direction for banked turns. Even though it's pretty easy to ignore it and just use the minimap horizon marker, as someone with a PPL I find myself looking at the instruments in the plane almost instinctively and ending up inverted.

 

I looks to me like a 2d sprite object, so there must be some in-game code that dictates how it moves, anyone know where I can find it?
