Yeah, Inner City Blues is such a great song. And it fits GTAIV and Liberty City perfectly.

Lately I've been role playing as Eddie Low, hanging around the alleyways in Berchem and beyond, picking off people. As evening closes in, Eddie will take advantage of the last few joggers around Middle Park before sundown. I keep rain locked to add the sense of despair that areas of LC does like few other games out there. Taking the underground/subway like a normal pedestrian would is a surprisingly enhancing thing to do, plus Eddie doesn't like cab drivers. They're too nosey.

I'm often amazed by the amount of buildings that can be scaled.

 

The grabbing onto and holding ledges feature that was removed in GTA V has helped me get to places that would be impossible without it.

Yeas, I like to just hang around in the city, look around, listen the sounds and feel it.

In the Bohan, theres a lot of apandoned puildings also, that you may like to go in and explore.

The Brucie boating friend activity, speeding through the water glistening from the sun with The Vibe or Choc Electro playing really sets a mood, this activity can take a while and if you take your time you can experience the sunny day brillance and on the way back the dusky red and orange skyline. It can be a nice break from the mayhem of the streets of Liberty, seeing the sights of the Liberty coast from another angle.

 

Going into a gun shop and taking out the guy inside, then crouching at the back waiting for the attack from his four armed companions, with limited weapons it can be fun to see if you can survive, however if you obtain a wanted level after taking out the guy inside they won't come, so go out and lose your wanted level, when you return they should be inside the door waiting for you, first time this happened it gave me a fright, almost sh1t myself, figured the owner would have respawned but instead I got shotgunned to death. This game is full of surprises even now.

 

Getting a pedestrian to hit me in view of the cops to see will he run or surrender, then following him in the cop car and trying to free him.

When I have a wanted level and I've been trapped by the cops with no car in sight I can safely get to I call Brucie for a helicopter pickup, trying to reach him while escaping the hail of gunfire is exhilarating and challenging, it's a real GET TO THE CHOPPA experience.

man, you need to learn map modding . where you love to go and watch at the sea i have installed a small stilthouses village, 2 or 3 km from the coast. sometimes i go there with my boat. i stand on one of the houses balcony and i watch at the sea. sometimes i go to the north too, and roam, or keep building the ocean drive i made there. i'm kinda slow in map modding cause i want to make something fun. and not something only to get downloads at GTA4-mods. but maybe someday i'll release my stuff

I like exploring Funland, it brings me back to a bygone era. Somewhere lost in time where people used to be lining up for show rides, fairy floss and hotdogs. I also like to go exploring Middle Park and go 'people watching'. There's such a vast variety of different peds and the park is simply huge. You can easily spend a whole in game day exploring there.

 

I think exploring Funland/Firefly Island is both intriguing and eerie. I also get a sense that it takes me back. However because it's out of operation it has an eerie feel like once it was teeming with life from families and such having a good time, but now it doesn't apart from the few hobos and other undesirable types that hang around.

 

Adds depth to the city's history like it actually existed before Niko arrived.

 

 

Yep, there's something about that place. That's a part of the reason I loved the menu theme in The Warriors. Two Rockstar games, same Ferris wheel, except in the The Warriors it's not the Liberty Eye but the Wonder Wheel

True but I use it to try and get closer to a safehouse, unfortunately Brucie can't evade the cops though like you said

Ugh.

 

Block the exists of the place, move slowly. The first guy is in the room nearby the entrance. The second one talks to a stripper in the middle of the whole club, the last one is in the room getting a dance... once you locate them all, stab the first one with a knife - no one will hear it. Then just blast Jesus, the stripper and his goon in the private room with a quick Shotgun burst, and in the end just get any Rifle to pick off Javier, trying to run off.

Block the back entrance with a big vehicle (you can steal an ambulance in Bohan while on your way to the strip club, but a SUV like the Cavalcade or a pickup truck like the Bobcat or the Contender will work too). Then go to the main entrance and fire a gun. There´ll be a panic and the goons will start shooting, but you can walk to the front entrance and wait outside. The three targets soon will try to escape, but since the back entrance is blocked, they´ll finally get out of the main entrance so you just have to wait and welcome them with your gun.

I usually drive around Liberty City and visit some of the fine landmarks Liberty City has to offer. I also like going to the Statue of Happiness and Star Junction and just walking around there.
