"Get into Humane Labs, and get out with their files. After the EMP is triggered, half the team goes in with night vision, the other half holds off reinforcement in the attack chopper. Then the chopper team collects the ground team."

- Rocket to the feet, respawning at the Valkyrie. Free trip skip.

- Chopperteam landing on the hill behind HL. Taking down up to 0 choppers with homing launchers/heavy snipers, since they all crash before they arrive. Have a beer/joint/cigarette while watching the map.
- Groundteam with assault shotgun and without heavy heist gear does the whole job within 4 minutes.
- After both teams meet on the hill, get in the chopper, get out, have another beer/joint/cigarette. This time, up to two choppers may arrive.
- Fly to LS to enjoy the blackout.
- Find it boring after a minute.
- Complete the mission.

- Skip the last four steps if you are in a rush and just take down the three Buzzards with the Valkyrie.

Does this method usually get the Elite Challenge?

Does this method usually get the Elite Challenge?

No, you can't kill yourself after stepping out the apartment for the Elite Challenge. I would also not recommend this for Criminal Mastermind, lol. For the Elite Challenge, you need to use bikes. I've never done this myself to be honest, but I consider this as rather easy. For the Elite Challenge, I would recommend to land on the beach, not on the hill. It's basically the same, since most incoming choppers crash. Just don't wear a heavy heist gear. It will take ages to swim through the tunnel with it. I used to have a friend who did the groundteam part in absolutely no time, you can rush through Humane Labs with an assault shotgun within a few seconds, literally.

Yea, me neither.

The ground team should wear regular clothes & pack Assault Shotguns with extended clips.

The helicopter team can just hover high above Humane Labs to avoid gun fire while they wait for the ground team.

You need an experienced pilot for this mission so you don't get chopped off by the blades if s\he landed on the beach.

______

Of course like all finales, make sure you have lots of snacks & armors ... Just incase

He does not have to land on the beach.
The incoming Buzzards most likely crash when you land the Valkyrie on the plain of the hill behind Humane Labs. It takes ages for the choppers to arrive and most of the times you just see red chopper icons on the map disappear. It is different when you are in the sky, they can "see" you then, are way faster and don't crash, at least not so often.

My favorite cruel joke to play on players finishing the heist for the first time is telling them that they can keep the Valkyrie if it doesn't get destroyed during the mission. It's really funny when it's their character that uses the grenade.

If there is someone new around who does not know about the trick, I'm usually like "f*ck it, I don't wanna play with you guys anymore". Then I kill myself and enjoy the few seconds of silence. If I am the random/new guy, which is barely the case, it is the other way around. They are raging and then: suddendly silence.

It's always the gunner who throws the grenade, so you should focus on him.

Just finished this one last night which took quite a while since the air team kept dying. Then we get to the end, land and it says "Pilot left". I end up back in a different session without one dollar to my name and I was hosting which means I didn't get sh*t for the setups either. The other guys got paid but not me. I was so pissed! I can restart the heist but I have to go through it all over again. What a pile.

Did that ever happen to any of you during a heist finale?

That happens to a lot of people on Pac Stan, but it's the host who is leaving and he keeps his finale. Not getting paid AND losing the finale is very rare, it can happen if someone leaves in a very, very small window though.
I would also never recommend to let (unexpierenced) randoms fly the Valkyrie. As long as you are the pilot, you are in control, i.e. you can land it, get out and take care of the Buzzards. Randumbs can die inside HL as well, some won't find the exit and drown, but it's easier. Noobs will always fight the ground troops and most of the time the Valkyrie will be destroyed before you even got out of the tunnel.

Tried to restart the heist finale but my heist board was empty and it wouldn't load anything. I got a friend to invite me to the first Humane Labs setup, we both dropped out and now it's finally back on the board. We'll see if I can play it through again without problems. Weird stuff.

The dudes in the Valkyrie were friends but unexperienced. We had to redo it five or six times, which is ok but not if you don't even get paid in the end.

If, like me, you are not a fan of aerial combat in the Valkyrie, there is a way to never have to fight in the Valkyrie. After the ground team parachutes, the pilot can go along the eastern coast and find a small cave east of the windmills, where the contact mission 'Coveted' used to be located. You can land inside the cave on a small stretch of beach on the left side. The body of the Valkyrie needs to be parallel to the shoreline. If you land too far from the water, the propeller will hit the rock wall and cause damage, but if you land too close to the water, the mission might suddenly fail saying the Valkyrie is destroyed. Exit and destroy the Buzzards with your minigun. When the ground team resurfaces, go pick them up, but one at a time. Pick up the first person, then drop off at the cave entrance before picking up the second person and dropping off at entrance. Land on the stretch of beach inside the cave again, and the ground team members will swim and enter the Valkyrie. Everyone will have about a 3 second window to exit the Valkyrie before the Buzzards spawn, at which point exiting is not possible. In my experience someone always doesn't exit fast enough. Exit the cave and take down the Buzzards on foot again. Their missiles cannot hit the Valkyrie inside the cave.

Also, while it may be considered overkill, the ground team can actually bring an Armored Kuruma inside the Humane Labs building and drive it all the way to the elevator. This will require a Cheetah or Turismo in order to be able to do the mobile ramp trick and bring the Kuruma over the 3 ft step.

You're massively over complicating it!

You can land pretty much anywhere once the ground team are in, none of this cave / lining up / 3 seconds stuff is even remotely needed, just land behind the lab or on the hills and rocket the buzzards. Get the ground team to swim to behind the lab then in and out of the valkeyrie to spawn the final 4 buzzards and take them out

Click the link below for pics and tips on using the valkeryie, once you know how to use it, it's a very effective weapon

I realize you could just land anywhere in the open grass area and probably achieve the same effect. However the risk is someone will not exit the Valkyrie fast enough before the last set of Buzzards spawn, which happens nearly every time I play it. Then you are risking a missile to the Valkyrie, which is still on the ground and can be destroyed or flipped over. In the cave at least if someone doesn't exit fast enough, you are still guaranteed to be safe since the missiles cannot hit the Valkyrie.

If that is your issue you're doing something very wrong, You should have ample time before they spawn and get in range, you can hit them long before they can hit you, again, try using the beach behind the lab and avoid tripping the check point till you are ready

You're making things harder then they have to be

I just discovered bringing the Kuruma inside the Humane Labs building does not require a second vehicle to act as mobile ramp. You only have to use the leftmost ramp to drive up. You need to make as wide of a right turn as possible to avoid the right side of the Kuruma getting stuck on the rails, and nudge around the Kuruma a bit. Then there is a second sharp right turn, and again turn as wide as possible. Just don't have a GT wing or you will get stuck for sure.
