what determines the circle location? is it random or the closest to you?

how do you win?

I usually have 1 tank, a bop running in circles and 2 hydras

Just hide in a covered area and run in circles. People coming to get you will eventually be too busy killing each other to try and find you.

pretty much. It's really just king of the castle but you pick the spot.

It's a random location in the quarter of the map you are in when you start it.

You don't need a tank or a hydra, lol, most of the time it's even easier without a bodyguard. It's pretty hard to fail, although I kill other VIPs quite often.

As much as I agree with being a solo VIP is the best way to go, having 3 bodyguards and playing the intended way is also pretty fun. Getting the bodyguards to throw themselves at people just to stall them and let you get away when they get close can get pretty tense

There are a few places you can get into the subway. Stand still and watch everyone on the surface run around your crosshair like idiots.

Jack a random, low-end NPC car and blend into traffic. Keep driving and avoid other players as much as possible. Don't cause any chaos and you're 99% guaranteed to win.

A nice hiding spot with some room to walk around is always best, provided you're sure that players won't search for you there (avoid that building across from Tinsel towers like the plague, for example. It's a decent hiding spot, but it's a generally known hiding spot as well and players are guaranteed to come for you there). If there's no hiding spot that you deem sufficient, I personally enjoy stealing an NPC car off the road and just driving like they do. The fun is amplified when you have a bodyguard, they fight any enemy players, and you sometimes sneak in a kill by randomly driving into them out of the traffic. Truly hilarious because they have no clue

The search gets boring to me so I always start sh*t. Sneaking up on people, standing still, and other provoking measures. I like the chase.

Probably why I only suceed 75% of the time. The adrenaline is worth failing once in a while.

And the area depends where you are on map, you can find me in executive search dead smack in the middle of the city...

Just don't have a retard as a bodyguard.

This

happend just a few minutes after my last post in this thread. 20 minutes later, a friend of mine and me finished off another VIP in the subway tunnel below the Scrapyard. Seriously, the scrubs make it way to easy.

Boring way: Get on top of a building that's inaccessible without an aircraft, run in circles and HL anything that gets close enough to spot you. That's how most VIPs seem to roll at the moment.

Fun way. Send your bodyguards to fight the enemy away from the VIP, and keep moving. The bodyguards spawn close to the VIP, so they give away your rough whereabouts when killed, making constant relocation important. Try to use building interiors and tunnels to hide. Ghost Organisation is a god-send when all of your bodyguards are getting swarmed.

Only did one executive search, I just hid on a roof. Easy money.

I go a step further and keep a low-profile mobile in my garage for this purpose. An Asterope in my case, fully modded under the hood but visually indistinguishable from an NPC car.

Others are right in saying that VIP Search is easy solo, almost a guaranteed win, but also much more fun the 'proper' way with bodyguards involved. 95% of the time if you're solo people don't even bother coming to look for you because its so easy to just shuffle back and forth in some little hidey-hole. I think your blip should appear every minute or so regardless of if you're moving or not, to make it interesting for all involved.

Yeah, solo is the easiest way to to win. I played this mode over than 20 times and was never found, which is hilarious. Key points:

— Don't be dressed too bright and too sophisticated. Hat, for example, is a a very bad thing. Coloured hat is even worse. If you're moving on foot, try to blend in as much as possible and don't carry weapons;

— Use your low profile PV or just steal the car from the street. 9 out of 10 street car will be even better, because it's true NPC car which is relevant to spawn location. Although, there are pretty universal sleeper cars. Just don't drive Ballers, Felons or any other popular steal and sell car, because your pursuers will be desperate after a while and will settle for a car to sell;

— Create diversions. Plant stickies on some turns while you're cruising in circles and detonate them using your radar as a guide when your pursuer is close. A lot of fun! Or use proximity mines that will be triggered by traffic. Be advised: police is not disabled in this mode so if you want to pull this, call in for a favour to turn a blind eye;

— Always abide dead simple ROE: do not engage until you're engaged. You may get your kill, but you will reveal yourself and your look and probably your car. Needless to say, you will encourage people to look for you even more.

There are situations when you're pretty much f*cked, yes. I've seen it from the other side, but never experienced it as a person in hiding. Example: 2 or 3 Savage choppers just chewing the streets with cannons and scanning with lock-on. I was in a group with my mates (military IRL) and they came up with this strategy. Always act as organisation. Use 3 helis: 2 for extermination of everything and one for scanning. Start from scanning the streets with all three, waiting for lock-on. If there is nothing, step up the game. Coordinate your actions, divide sectors of fire and keep bird number three for oversight and occasional scan. Your backup is using expanded radar and dealing with any incoming threats. Hydra will not dare to enter the area with three Savages, it's a death sentence. Remember that you can use ghost organisation option. Don't use Valkyrie, though. It's a precise weapon, not what you need.

The only reason I've ever failed is because my bodyguards will follow me around the whole time...

I just played it today and it was in the Richard's Majestics Studio area and I had like 5 players looking for me. I was just walking back and forth behind the wall by the freeway chilling lmfao. Requested my car at 30 seconds and dipped after it ended. Easiest 25k.

The one time I did fail though while my bodyguards were away from me was when 2 people brought in tanks and 2 other people brought in jets. Complete war zone. Ridiculous.

Just a tip for tracking down VIPs: bodyguards, once killed, will respawn next to their boss. Pay attention to the map after killing one to zero in on the VIP

Holy crap, 9 times out of 10, the bodyguard(s) stick right next to you or want you to get in their vehicle with them, which is the dumbest thing you can do as it pretty much gives away the VIP's location.

Guy with a Beer

I have my bodyguard go land a chopper on a roof and make sure it is visible and defend that location. In the meantine I just take a casual walk or drive in an npc vehicle somewhere that I can escape from quickly.

Invisible Rhino ^_^
But on a serious game, I play on foot and get creative with the hiding spots. Sanchez.

I remember one time we were searching for a rival group and we went World War III on a team hiding near Palomino Ave and Vespucci.
We were bombing the place, Tanks and Jets and Insurgents, savagely blowing up the bodyguards. We were close to zeroing in on the VIP, realized he was swimming and one of our jets accidentally shot him dead.
That was so sick..

Be advised: police is not disabled in this mode so if you want to pull this, call in for a favour to turn a blind eye;

Save your money, because police is disabled.

On a lot of areas you can play it AFK with a decent team of friends. For example, the VIP can stay visible inside the metro tunnels, while his bodyguards are directly above him on the ground level. Nobody will look in the underground. By using a cheeky tactic, it is impossible to get killed by players in the metro tunnels. Just place a proximitymine at the tunnel entrance. In case someone really comes close and it detonates, wait until this player comes back down to you. Then kill yourself, so you respawn on the groundlevel.

Some locations do not offer foolproof hiding spots, but those are all on the northside of the map. If you play it for the money, don't do it with randumbs and start it always in LS. And yeah, don't start it with jets in the sky. This goes for sightseer as well.

"tactics" like this f*ck up this game... people who don't just PLAY but desperately want to see "winner" on their screen..... or make that 15k....

It's a coding flaw. Actually you should fail ES when you commit suicide and get charged with 10K. Metro system should be out of bounds, just like in the Most Wanted Challenge. The only time I personally kill myself is when I got cops on me who will kill me anyway eventually, not in a fighting situation. But it's possible to use this "tactic" in ES, and because of that and the fact that the organisation usually has an advantage, I sometimes don't give a f*ck about my own no rpg policy when hunting VIPs. Still has to be a decent shot, not the usual braindead explosive spamming.

Regarding the suicide thing, there are some exceptions. I desperately prevent rank 8000s with KD 10 and invisible bodyparts from seeing the winner screen. In a regular freeroam battle, if someone starts it, not because of cops, but because of losing health, you can either go passive or do exactly the same thing over and over just to piss him off.

Killing a VIP, especially when the timer is about to run out, always gives me some kind of satisfaction. They have chosen the gamemode, it's their game. I did it a hundred times now at least, I know how easy it can be. If you are playing on the other side it's always great to see modded accounts with their unlimited rockets fail. So yeah, depending on the people you play against, the winner screen can give you a nice and warm feeling.
