LiangHuBBB
What's the most money you have ever spent on a game? For me it would be SF4. Got SF4 collectors edition for 90$, 30$ for the SSF4 expansion, 30$ for USF4 expansion, another 40$ for all the outfits, got the PC version of this game SSF4+USF4 for 60$ as well and ended up paying another 40$ for the PS4 version during the last 7 years until SF5 is finally out now. 290$ all together. A friend of mine has spent 3k+ $ on Hearthstone though.
HaythamKenway
Whew, hard to say. Maybe GTA IV? 60 for vanilla IV, 40 for both digital DLCs, 40 for a physical copy of EfLC and then about 15 for another copy of EfLC. Or GTA V. I've bought this damn game three times at this point, once for the full price, second and third for about 50 dollars each. You're welcome, R*. Osho
I think I've paid more towards GTA SA than any other games so far. Got the original copy [ v1 ] of SA for PC during the release and after couple of years the DVD of the game was scratched up, refused to play and purchased the version 2.0, since then I continued to play with it, until I found a guy via Facebook willing to offer the original v1.0 copy fully working with no scratches but for a higher price. I was anyways looking to somehow get my hands on the original version as it supports modding but it was not available legally and required illegal means which I was not willing to download. I paid for the third time regardless of the high price, and having a blast playing the modded gameplay! Mister Pink
Algonquin Assassin
$190 AUD for Vice City on PS2. The only reason I did was because I got it 2 weeks before the Aussie release and seeing at the time the Aussie laws/regulations regarding censorship was taking full swing I wanted an uncensored version. Looking back it was a really foolish thing to do seeing as I now have Vice City on my PS3 anyway which I don't think is censored lol. However I've probably spend ridiculous amounts of money on games with DLC on top. Niobium, Mister Pink, Vik and 1 other
Th3MaN1
40€ for GTA V, not that it ain't worth the 60 in my opinion, but 40 sounds much better to me.
MikeMyth
CE of GTAV. $150. If we're counting towards one game, even if its on two different consoles, then close to $200. Got it for PS4 for $35 or so and bought a few shark cards on PS3 before discovering modders. Edited March 2, 2016 by MikeMyth
John The Grudge
It must have been Alan Wake. I bought the limited edition on day one then the two dlc episodes and American Nightmare. So that's probably just shy of £100. I have no regrets I loved that game and it was worth every cent. It really vexes me that, with my Xbox 360 gone, I'll never be able to play it again unless I buy an Xbox One. I can only hope that the sequel (should it happen) also comes out for the PS4. Given the sales success of the PS4 I can't imagine why Remedy would remain in an exclusivity deal with MS. Especially considering the appetite for the kind of games Remedy make amongst PS fans. The Dedito Gae
$645 pesos on gta V, is not a special collector's edition or anything, is just how expensive was on premiere day in my country, currently is still $800 on most shops give it ir take, even ancient games like prototype or saints row are around $180. Inflation, go eat a dick, yours truly, MH. Edited March 2, 2016 by Midnight Hitman Payne Killer, Vik, Nico and 1 other
Richard Power Colt
Bought Red Dead twice(can't remember if the price was cut second time around). I also bought all the DLCs as soon as they came out. I also bought V twice for 60 bucks, but I haven't spent a dime on shark cards. SupaDoopa
Probably GTA V. I paid full price on the release day for x360, then bought the game twice for PS4 (my first disc got scratched up). I've also probably bought close to $200 in shark cards over 2.5 years.
marco6158
Uhmmm, if I consider only one game, Driv3r SF Collector Ed. 75€. Then there's GTA, 60€ (Xbox 360) and for PC, 60€.

RussianCommie
I'm pretty sure It would have to be GTA V for me. On the 360, I bought the Special Edition of the game and It cost $80. I bought the game again on the XB1 for $60. Total cost of $140 when It comes to GTA V.
darthYENIK
Not counting consoles, like how I bought a PS2 specifically to play GTAIII, the most I spent on a game was $150 (I think) for the original Rock Band kit.

esmittystud101
It would have to be Forza Horizon 2 for Xbox One. After all the car/track packs, all the passes it offered............right around $155. The only way Turn 10 will ever get my money again will be if they offer a true season pass where you pay one fee and you get all the content. There car pass is the biggest joke out of all season passes I have ever seen. You only get six months of cars they offer in DLC, then they turn around and try and charge you for the rest. They don't say this in there season pass when you go buy it either. They make you think your getting everything when your not. But, guys will still kiss Turn 10 butt saying they are the best when really there more decieving than EA or Activision. Atleast those developers offer me something where I only have to pay $50 a year, and there up front with you. Not some decieving pass. Could you imagine getting the CoD season pass, nine months later, they offer a map pack but try to charge you for it. Then come out and say "We're doing this for the fans, we know they wanted more content." That is exactly what Turn 10 did. I love the game itself, it might not sound like it, but probably my favorite car games of all time. I'll never go back to a non open world racing game again. Even with Grand Turismo next installment coming out.....not open world......just doesn't interest me. OysterBarron
Well mine would have to be Star Citizen so hyped for that! $655.00 USD TOTAL SPENT The other would have to be GTAO I must have spent around £300+ on those damn cash cards alone! Richard Power Colt
655 must have got you a pretty nice ship in the game. HoleInTheSky
Assassin's Creed III Join or Die Edition. Felt good when it arrived, but regretted the purchase soon after I lost interest in the game itself. I hadn't bought a special edition of any game up until that point, and haven't wasted money on one since.

Shadowfennekin
Uh..... I don't know the specific amount but it's Saints Row IV. Bought the game and season pass at release, bought some of the non-story related DLC during a sale on 360 Bought the whole package for $10 on Steam before Gat out of Hell came out. THEN I bought the Saints Row 4/GoH re-elected bundle at full price for my Xbox One Edited March 2, 2016 by Shadowfennekin
PoeticWhisper
$120 on both versions of GTA V But I bought San Andreas a total of like 4-5 times in my lifetime. Not all at full price but I think like 2 were full price. One was a collectors, then I bought it on 360 for $20. Then again on 360 when they re-released it for like $5, so I bought it cause it had achievements. So probably that.
El Dildo
like, on a single game? I guess it would have to be my early lifetime access to Elite:Dangerous which (at the time I bought in) was about 150 bucks. but that's access to everything they release for the game. for all time. the early access package also gives you a huge leg-up in the beginning of the game. they've already been pumping out a ton of content, constant updates, constantly expanding in just the 1.5 years since that time. Sir Michael
So far, Fallout 4 ($60) with the Season Pass before the price bump yesterday ($30 before, $50 now), so $90 total. I always found ways to get games for cheap or just buy them from the local navy base so I don't have to pay taxes, but this marks the first time in my life that I actually went through with buying a game full-price along with a season pass. I never believed in buying season passes for multiplayer games since it always was an overpriced map pack or some stupid skin for our character or our guns, but for a game like Fallout, I'll make an exception because of my past experiences with that series' DLC, most of which very positive. Skeever
I suppose it'd have to be Fallout 4 at $400 (USD), which came with a free XB1. If purchasing a console for the sole reason of playing a game doesn't count, though, then I suppose it'd have to be The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Collector's Edition, which I bought for $50 in 2006 along with an additional $30+ or so being spent on DLC, before finally dropping another $20 on the PC GotY edition a few years ago. You know you love a developer when you spend $2.50 on virtual horse armor (sue me) and $400 on a console bundle (plus another $30 for the Season Pass) just to play one of their games.
