The day has finally come where the Zion Classic LM is now in game!

It's still very early in development, like it needs LOD's, proper collisions, and I still need to add parts to the model. But otherwise it drives and looks fantastic!

I wanted to suggest something. How about placing Ubermatch badges at the base of the C pillars? I don't remember if the 3.0 CSL had it, but I think some BMW's from this era had the round emblems in the little "triangle" at the base of the rear pillars. This could also be carried to the road car version.

I really don't think it needs them. Plus SilentSoul's sketch didn't have them, so I don't think I'll be putting any on the cars.

It is planned, but it'll be a while since I still have the Zions to do and I still have the backlog of other converts that I haven't done yet. Not to mention the new After Hours DLC coming out that may add even more DLC cars to the convert list.

I'll skip the "flying bike 2.0, but now with explosive rounds and now it actually flies" and all useless trucks and post only the actual cars:

Glad they decided not to name the E-Type as Swinger. Might be better ended up as a Lynx Classic than something with sexual innuendo.

That's not an E-Type guys. It's even better. It's the mid engined, V12 powered Jaguar XJ13 that was originally designed for Le Mans, but dropped before its debut. Only one example built, it was crashed and rebuilt.

Even though I have to admit a rather big part of me also wants a traditional E-Type as well.

So that's it? Two cars? I'm actually kind of relieved honestly, because I already have enough cars still to convert.

 

Swinger is a surprise, I figured it would have more E-Type Jag in the design. But I'm not dissapointed with a XJ-13 at all.

 

I'm so glad the Stafford is an old Rolls, and it's my favorite of the two. That car would would epic driving around Westdyke.

Of all the updates, in my opinion, is a more dull of all. The Patriot Limo is cool but could be longer. Happy to have Stafford back, it's the only decent and interesting car in this update. The good news is that the Jester Classic received more attention.

@Claude_Lib Now that you mention it, you should upload the old reworked vehicles (Futo, Ruiner, etc) incase he wants to apply some of the modifications on the IV models.

 

Also, @Thundersmacker it would be sweet if you could upload someday a pack of IV vehicles with added licence plates (vehicles like Contender, Super GT, Infernus, Comet, etc), after playing V for so long, the lack of licence plates on those cars is really noticable :P

Are there actually any significant changes to those vehicles besides them being mapped? I know the Patriot recieved additional tuning parts, but I don't know about the others.

Good news guys, progress on the Zion LM has been going great lately and it's just about done.

I got the LOD's all finished and the final wheels and tires for the car done. All that is left to do is get the collisons set-up and make a few extras for the car. I was thinking of some fog-lights and maybe a rear EU plate to go on the back.

 

I'm going to try to get this beauty out this weekend, but if something comes up then definitely next weekend.

I swear every time you mention the missing plates, I think about doing them. And then something else comes up and I forget. Haha, maybe if you remind me a few more times I'll actually do it. 😜

I wish IV had a wider range of engine sounds. This thing does not deserve a generic engine sound.

 

I also noticed you heard me about putting the Ubermatch logo on the base of the rear pillars, but I think that's actually part of the livery and not the car itself. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If you use Fastman's Audio loader you can make it sound awesome. I already have a sound made for it that will be included in the download. It sounds more like a Lancia Stratos, but there's nothing wrong with that right?

 

And to answer your question, yes that Ubermacht logo is part of the livery.

I know you can make cool adjustments with FLA but I never managed to do great things other than adding exhaust flames to cars.

 

The good thing is that if I want a third pillar emblem I can just make a blank livery and put the logos on it. It won't look as good as if there was a dedicated badge texture placed there but I guess it's better than nothing.

@Thundersmacker @Nico If you use FLA's audio loader, and download and install THIS you can use all the engine sounds from TLAD and TBoGT in IV too.

FYI: Since installation instructions are non-existent, you just put the "RAGEIV_xp.asi" and "update" folder in the main directory, then put copies of the ep1_sfx and ep2_sfx rpfs from EFLC in the "update" folder. The "addedvehicleaudiosettings.ini" is just an example file, it doesn't have to be used.
