It's what you've been waiting for...

Here are the progress pics of the Sentinel Classic from the Doomsday DLC.

It has some extras in the way of the spoiler (shown) and the window louvers, I can't do much more than that because I want to keep the file size low. (under 800KB) The wheels shown are temps but they may stay on there in the final release since I'm quite liking the look of them.

There is still some work to do, but I think it's looking superb so far.

Good Job M8 :D

New taillight textures for the Sentinel, taken and modified from the Ardent. The old ones looked sort of half assed, so I changed them and it looks so much better now.

Looking good!

Here are the final wheels for the Sentinel.

sentinel3_rim.jpg

They have paintable inners with a chrome outer rim, as you can see in the pic below.

Only downside to this is that this car will not have a paintable interior, since I don't have any other color slots to use. :sigh:

Oh man, you're doing this to me again. By the next weekend I'll be on vacation and far from my PC. Won't be able to enjoy this boxy beauty til February!

But seriously, you've done a good job on this. I don't think this needs colorable interior, the rims and stripe are more important in my opinion. By the way, I just played with a M3 E30 on Assetto Corsa a few days ago and it was such a joy to drive.

Looking really good! Have you thought about using the livery system for the interior colors? The first 4 liveries can be randomly spawned in traffic, but with a trainer you can choose up to 11, I think.

I never actually tried to go over 4 liverys on a car. I remember reading a while back that if you go over 4 liverys it can make the game very glitchy or something like that. Having different color interiors as liverys is a good idea for a car that doesn't have any color slots left, so I'll keep it in mind.

  • 2 weeks later...

Sorry guys for the lack of any new stuff. Things have been pretty hectic lately in my personal life, so I haven't really had any free time to work on mods.

But hopefully in another week, things should be calming down so I'll be able to get cracking on the next project.

Hope everything will be ok in your life.

The real question is, what will be next.

My vote goes to the 190z

Time for an American classic, the Yosemite.

yosemite_preview1.jpg

Got big plans for this one, including four separate variants to hopefully suit everyone's taste.

The standard version (the one you see in the pic) will be the "Custom" variant. Other versions planned are a Racer, Beater, and the obligatory Stock version. I may also have different wheels options for each version, so yeah this is going to be big.

Seeing this style of Chevy truck reminds me of my dad's 1970 long bed C-10, which he restored all himself. It had orange paint with a white top and a rebuilt 327 V8, but looked stock on the outside. Unfortunately it's been quite a long time since he had it since that was back about 15 years ago, so working on this truck brings back all of those awesome memories.

Ii Looks Good, but i Just have One Question...

What are Those???? What are those?

(Talking 'bout those wheels)

They are temps from the Nightshade, that I am considering for a wheel choice. There will be other options for wheels by the way, in case you forgot my first progress post.

Oh, and please stop quoting the picture in your replies. That way other people don't have to scroll through multiple identical images to get to the next post. ;)

Several people on this thread should learn how to quote. Just sayin'.

I'm not a fan of modified, slammed pick ups but that's not bad. I would rather have a stock version in my game, though.

It seems like you guys aren't very interested in the default slammed version, and to be honest neither am I. So should I just put the custom version and the other variants on the back burner, and put full focus on the stock version?
