I agree, looking really pretty. I like the name, Coyote. Fits better than Clydesdale, which is more appropriate for a large truck. Like my rather uncreatively-named Hillbilly Bobcat, lol.

 

That's one aspect of modding that I hate, and don't do well at all. I've got a long list of poorly named vehicles. Rancher Lowride? Daemon mod? Dumb, lol.

Just wanted to let you guys know that the Hustler and Bullet have been uploaded, you can find them on GTA4-Mods and GTAinside (still waiting on approval).

 

In the mean time, I'm making more progress on the Coyote. Here's some Zmod pics.

 

 

As you can see it has a whole new engine bay and now has a classic V8 (it had what looked to be a 6-cylinder before).

 

You'll also notice it is going to have paintable rims, and I have added badges and the license plate.

Oh, damn. I tried to find the pics that I took of the truck back then but couldn't find any except for the one that I posted which was a screen that I took for a friend of mine to use on his mod on 4-Mods

 

Indeed, I lost them somewhere around in 2011/2012 if I remember correctly and then couldn't get them back anymore since I had lost the DL. But I hope you'll find the time to make it again some day, would be nice to see it alive again after so many years and hopefully converted to V by you (or somebody else)!

I just remembered that JoeVK made a custom Bobcat that is along the same lines as mine. It is a good alternative to the one I made and is a little more refined.

Seriously though, on the Coyote, is the "Vapid" script on the fenders a placeholder? I was thinking a "Coyote" script there like the real Bronco would look good there. Just my two cents.

No it's not a placeholder, I don't think it looks too bad. My days of making scratch made badges are long gone, you may remember the Typhoon badges.

 

If you feel like making some custom badges for it I'll happily take them.

 

 

Now the Coyote is just about finished (except for the data lines as they need more tweaking). It will spawn in two versions, one will be a classic stock Bronco look with a topper and stock bumpers. The other will look very similar to the Max Payne 3 truck with tubular bumpers and a roll bar.

Two things I noticed on that Patriot are that the tailgate opens inward (though that was in a "test" shot, so maybe it's been fixed), and the normal map for the license plate looks to be inverted. The letters/numbers appear stamped inward from the front, not outward from the back.
