Does 2nd Character Share Same Car Selling Cooldown?

I *thought* I read somewhere that you could create a second character and essentially sell 2 cars per 48 mins (on PC) vs. 1 car. I tried this and couldn't get it to work. Can someone pls. confirm whether or not this can be done?

Yes. Early on no but they patched it.

They just patched it in one of the last couple updates, cause I occasionally sold cars back to back between both characters even after VIP.

This is how I made most of my money in the early days, before I committed fully to Courtney. Had no idea they'd patched it.
