Online Mission payouts low?

I've been grinding some missions (and VIP work) to get to a money milestone before the next DLC (and absurd prices) hits again sometime. Sure the 2xGTA$ (and 2xRP) was brilliant but it seems to me that the current payouts are lower than before the last reward week.

For example: in "A Titan of a Job" I'm getting $17.5K whereas prior to the double rewards week I was getting $19-19.5K. "War and Pieces" I'm getting $15.6K whereas previously it was closer to $18K. And there are countless other missions where this seems obvious too. These might seem light trivial amounts but after a few hours of smashing missions it does start to add up.

Is anyone finding this issue at the moment?

Thanks.

Nope because missions are based on time so if you are getting less money it means that you must be completing the mission slightly quicker

than you did previously, the average for a regular mission is about 4-5 minutes and pay maximizes around 15 minutes..

This actually means in the long run you are starting another mission/VIP work straight away so are getting slightly more money overall at the end of your

stint.

That's what I initially thought but then retried the same missions and was still getting the lower payment. I usually keep an eye on time if I'm trying to sell off Dubsta2's as well to try and stick to the 48min time rollover. Mission times are about on par with what I normally play but the payouts are lower. :/

You are playing hard difficulty right? The only other factor that affects the payout is the difficulty multiplier.

If you play Easy or Normal you get less on the multiplier which is calculated last in the payout, also other players and being a part of

a crew playing together can also affect payout.

I'd suggest if you want some serious comparison make a video/notes of your current play through of your favourite mission on Hard and note the length

of time you took to complete and I will do exactly the same mission and try to replicate your time/play through exactly and we can compare payout's?

If they are drastically different then it's a problem with the game which can maybe be raised but only way I can think of properly looking at this

as a fellow mission player.

Ive noticed this too. And ive been playing daily for years. Its not like i suddenly got a lot better and was able to knock several minutes of my completion times.

Even if i start toaj from trevors trailer and drive all the way to the plane, i still make less than even 2 months ago.

Well A Titan of a Job seems a good mission to pick for having a look at the mission payout's, I'll do a play through of that one

today and upload a video, suggest doing the same and then we can all compare and see what might be causing this change in

payouts.

Always play HARD difficulty...... I'm level 567 so why would I play otherwise?

Yeah I'm resigning to the fact I'm going to have to start capturing all of this. Done this before and submitted an incident with Rockstar. In the previous case it dragged out to almost a month and they accepted the issue and compensated more than fairly which was surprising. Just dont enjoy capturing and editing 2-3 hrs of video a night and uploading to Youtube when I can be playing productively.

Thanks anyway.

Your minds are playing tricks on you after the x2 week. Payouts seem more underwhelming than they were. I got like 6k for hard labour last but it's been like that for ages.

Agree but I'll have a look at it my end anyway and see if I can spot anything obvious. It would not surprise me if they tweaked the payout multiplier in someway and nobody

has really clicked except yourself and the regular players.

Are there less people in the missions?

I'm grinding them solo at the moment which is what I've done for ages. Yes I do play them with friends when they're online but I'm very familiar with what the usual payouts are single/crew/mixed. I can smash "Trash Talk" solo using a Buzzard and get $16K or I can set it up go for a cig break, come back and finish it and get $23/24K. Not getting those numbers at the moment :/

I play my missions on hard and to extend the time spent in it besides twiddling my thumbs is picking up all the cash my enemies drop, so even when technically doing nothing I am making money on the side. Picking up that dropped cash sure helps with ammo costs though, unless you spam things like RPGs and Grenade Launchers all over the place. Lots of people in the past ask me how I made so much money, one of the things I tell them is that I don't spam the sh*t out of my heavy weapons for every single mission. I seen players enter normal missions and spam them all over the place and yet wonder where all their money is going, that sh*t is expensive.

I only use my heavy weaponry when the situation calls for it which is not very often, the main mission I always use my grenade launcher for example is Rooftop Rumble since there is a cluster f*ck of enemies in the garage which will ALL open fire on you at once when spotted so I fire a grenade or two in there to thin the herd so I can actually use my normal weaponry without worry of getting killed the second I pop around the corner to take a shot.

At the time of writing this from Gta's launch day to now I made nearly 50 million dollars just doing normal jobs, no shark cards, no help, nothing. Just skill, patience, and diligence.

Should be pretty easy to compare current mission payouts with that from early 2014--thanks to YouTube. :)

You can test it. Trash talk on solo and on hard over 16 minutes should pay $22,860.
