Lethal Vaccine

Maybe in 9 months.

Edit: Actually make it a year.

Yeah, that is how I am. I have much better things to do with my GTA Time, like replay other, better GTA's than worry about V. I only ever finished V to 100% once and that was back in early 2014. Since then? I usually take 3, sometimes 6 to 9 months off and not play it at all during that time. I did load it up the other week and messed around with my Save Edited Save on PS3, but even that got quite boring very fast.

Maybe in the future (doubt it, though) I will play it again. I am having trouble getting into the HD Era. For a good year now, I've only been playing III, VC, SA, LCS, and VCS. But I should get back into IV, TLaD, TBoGT, and CW. At that time, THEN maybe I can try V again.

Can you understand the difference between online and story? Online can be done with multiple people, story mode can't. Why would you expect a sniper bullet hitting Lost cronies to do anything other than destroy them? Would you prefer they made online more difficult with bullsh*t AI? Or is an NPC taking slightly more damage than normal actually quite OK for a multiplayer environment?

Forget it, you fail to understand the point I'm trying to make, and it's useless trying to change your mind. Yeah Online is perfect, no worries. Enjoy the game.

Yeah, because the point you were trying to make requires such high level intelligence.

I kept laughing at how weak the enemies are compared to GTAOnline enemies, especially during missions with sniper rifles. Enemies go down in one hit with the sniper, amazing! If it was GTA online you'd need to shoot the enemies in the head about 20 times with the heavy sniper. Pretty hilarious.

So, you find it hilarious that story NPCs take 1 body shot, but multiplayer NPCs generally can take 2-3 body shots? That's game design, and it's a design employed by just about every game with a single player inspired multiplayer. If you have more guns shooting (i.e more players), the enemies take more damage to compensate. You say this like story mode NPCs haven't always went down in a single sniper shot.

What I'm saying is, you don't have a point. Your tendency to exaggerate things to the extreme often ruins any credible point you were trying to make. But it doesn't really matter, since your post was laden full of loathing from start to finish. Standard procedure, I guess.

By the way, I don't care if you like anything about the game or not.

To be fair, as I've tested quite a few times - story mode enemy NPCs will actually go down in one shot from any gun you use, no matter where on their bodies you hit, no matter if they're wearing a bulletproof vest, etc. Try it yourself, wait about a minute (if you hit them in the upper body, if you hit them in the legs, or the foot, they will actually go in about 25 seconds) and they'll stagger before collapsing dead.

Some do, some don't.

Had this happen with a couple of regular armored cops too. I shot the dude 4 times in the video by the way.

Agreed 100%. Also, there is generally a marked difference in games that have as robust an Online and SP component in the same game as GTA V. Clearly Rockstar made the online part of the game more difficult since this adds to the challenge and makes things more difficult in an online environment that leaderboards, more than anything, hold sway.

I may not agree with this philosophy Rockstar and other devs employ, but it is a defensible one nonetheless.

Like I said, you have to wait about a minute - I've tested it out hundreds of times. It's pretty inconsistent with the fact you can unload several shots into a NOOSE NPC without them dying, but it doesn't change the fact that 1 bullet will always be just as fatal as several when facing enemies. You'd assume from your video that what I said isn't true, but it is. Put on invincibility mode and shoot someone once - anywhere - and then leave them for a full minute or so. I guarantee you that unless Rockstar have patched it (I'm not sure why they'd choose to patch it now - it was present in the current gen edition), they will die after just the one shot.

What in the name of Science happened to the post?! This topic went off-road.

Back to what was said earlier...It's interesting to see different point of views as to why some delayed on not starting a new game. Hey, We all got our valid, respected reasons.

My Main reason with all my honesty to members I respect; I confess I have been playing LC for 2 Months on oldie carry on my old son xb360. Then, TLAD, finally TBoGT. Then RDR, then LC again. Recently GTA S.A

So now I popped in my GTA V on my xb1 and I don't recognize anything. I felt Lost. So though I haven't done the Epsilon mission or F missions.. M, T, F are billionaires fairly too..Money glitch;-)

I feel like an appreciation for the game it self ( Story Mode )

After all the drama, you know the kind, I avoided it all here & escaped to LC. I'm not rich so I just can't buy a new game just because. Now I feel like man, I don't know. I miss it!

Love all 3 characters were as before I hated T or F. Not anymore. It is what it is.

This time I plan on saving all S&F for after the game.

Make them all billionaires quick. It's SP, who cares.

And take my time.

When it's done, explore, enjoy which I never, ever truly have!

I never intend to do 100%. But that's me.

Felt like sharing with this forum.

As for online, I don't play it. I'm sure it's spectacular, phenomenal Beyond comprehension, and that's great. Not for me, with respect I add.

If it's one thing LC has taught me was, you come back to GTA V with basic badass smart survival mode. Odd, but in my case true. Proud to say I'm coming to my virtual home & never to start a new game after this play though.

I played online mode a few months ago.

I made some heists, bought myself a house and it was it. It was very fun I admit, but the best online mode I've played still is the SA one.

Just completed - Surveying the Score (51.4%)

If I get bored I just run people over, kill some cops or blow up some cars my favorite thing to do is knock off motor cyclists off there bikes so much fun or pick a certain make and model and blow 'em up like for example I hate seeing White and Red Gauntlets for some reason they spawn constantly if there blown up

I've played it through twice (once on PS3, once on PS4) and am playing it through again here and there. I think you have to play through it a few times to really appreciate everything that's going on and all the wonderful details.

Now that I've finally found a good crew though I'm almost always playing online. So far I think the online heists are better and more interesting than the story mode ones. They obviously put a lot of work into them.

All we need now is a fat SP DLC to freshen up the story and characters and breathe new life into the whole experience.

Man, I can't tell you how much I am enjoying this game on PC, with all the mods, excellent next-gen features, and the stepped up graphics. Hard to believe that this is even better a game on PC than it already is on the PS3.

Kudos to Rockstar for their writing, dialog, gameplay, and masterful craftsmanship in building this amazing masterpiece for the GTA fans!

Right, you "don't care" so hard you took the time out to type up all this. Definitely.

Yeah, because typing out three to five sentences really sucks the life out of him.

Shut up Chrio, stop instigating arguments. It's obviously a lot more than three or four sentences. Stop trying to get yet another thread locked because of your pettiness. ON TOPIC: Just replayed V's SP, found it kind of mediocre

Edit: VVV and yet he continues to want to have a petty slap fight. Not taking the bait.

Edit 2: And you can shut the f*ck up too fuzz you clown

Man, I never get tired of subsequent playthroughs in this game. I keep discovering new awesomeness every time, details missed previously, etc.

Wow, don't be bashful. How do you really feel? You shouldn't hold back and bottle up your feelings like this. Let it all out, its cathartic. :)

Anyway, you made such a big deal about how "much he cared because he typed sooooooo much out," when anyone who can type with more than two fingers at a time, could fire that post you accused him over in less than 20 seconds, was my point, honey. :p

Standard Maibatsu, Chiro, he loves to criticise people for something while doing the exact thing he's criticising them for.

---

I played for an hour or so last night, first time in ages, and I'll be honest, I was bored. Not because it's boring and I had nothing to do, but because I couldn't decide what I really wanted to do. So I spent an hour or so cycling around on a BMX and sticky bombing cars, then bunny hopping onto their roofs and detonating the f*ckers. Lots of fun, once I'd come up with a plan of action.

I think I'll save a story playthrough for a while longer, as I've just started replaying LA Noire and will be tackling RDR again after that. Once that's all tied up and I've smashed the Fallout 4 DLC, I'll be back in LS for a holiday.

I am taking my sweet time this playthrough, lavishing in incredible map, enjoying the mods for the PC and doing all the side stuff like Random events available after only a couple of missions, jumps, Knifes, Under bridges, Letter Scraps, and anything else I can check off in the Social Club.

I only play Singleplayer.

Once Singlplayer gets boring I put the game on the shelf.

Fortunately there is many mods being released all the time including all kinds off sidemissions.

I haven't played sp for 3 months that I either continue enjoying free roam with no headache of fib....or start a new game. If I do, I'm money billionaire it for all 3 characters(again)! They are set now:) just saying..

-

Who here has dared to try a new game of V? Just wondering..? I miss it. Guess you never feel the lost until you avoid it for your own good, wondering if I still have skills.

The most fun you can have in SP is starting over... sh*t i've done it 5 times.

The cut scenes and missions are golden.

Absolutely!

on my new PC game with tons of mods, I am doing the letter scraps now. Just finished the knife edges, jumps, and under bridges with only 4 story missions done. Also collecting Random Events as well as all the Hobbies & Passtimes and Miscellaneous stuff I can achieve now so early in the game. lol Only have TWO or nine of those damned Security Vans, though.

I just recently finished a playthrough and Fallout 4's DLC will be out sometime this month and AC Syndicate just got a DLC which I need to download, so it'll probably be a few months until I do another playthrough. Like May after all the announced Fallout DLC is out and played until I'm bored and did everything.

Plus I kinda want more DLC toys(GUNS) to use before playing SP again..... if only Online would stop hogging the new toys -_-

I only played through this game once since the enhanced version came out. I've only completed it twice.

I tried going through it again sometime in mid 2014 but I got bored.

My last playthrough was after I've bought the next-gen version, in October I think. I don't feel like giving it another go right now, for me, significant swathes of the story are a bit of a slog to play through to get to the good stuff (the Merryweather heist, assassinations, the exile...).

And I've just rebought SR2 on sale, so that should keep me busy for a while.
