I haven't played sp for 3 months that I either continue enjoying free roam with no headache of fib....or start a new game. If I do, I'm money billionaire it for all 3 characters(again)! They are set now:) just saying..

Who here has dared to try a new game of V? Just wondering..? I miss it. Guess you never feel the lost until you avoid it for your own good, wondering if I still have skills.

Maybe in 9 months.

Edit: Actually make it a year.

Last time I started a new game was over a year ago on PS4. I'll probably get around to replaying it for the fourth time when/if story DLC gets announced.

I picked up the game on Steam a couple of weeks back and started a playthrough. I am still very early in the game, though, as I am having a blast with mods.

As much as i enjoy playing the story through i tend to stay away from the game all together with when im trying to play other games, for too long it was my main game and its hard to get my brain to register other controller/keyboard configurations.

Like when Far Cry 4 came out i kept throwing grenades as i was coming up on an object and looking to take cover, very hard to train myself to break habits when im till playing the game :) i'll dust it off when single player DLC turns into a reality.

I have a playthrough at around 30%. I'll probbaly go back to it if the DLC hype train starts moving.

I think I will play again the SP when I'll go back home, on PC with some mods.

I've gone through the story many times, and currently enjoying the sandbox ( free roaming ) world of V on PC with mods installed!

I will go through the story again once SP DLC gets announced, until then enjoying the amazing free roam fun, baby!

I'm slowly trying to complete story mode again for next gen. It's giving me a chance to appreciate the game more. Make sure to complete certain missions only towards the end and to invest in stocks based on them.

Nope. I've tried getting into it the last couple of times, but have given up not long after starting. The DLC (If it comes) might be the only thing that motivates me to give it another shot.

Other than that it's been over a year since my last playthrough.

I tried to have a second playthrough last year on my PS4, beginning in September, but I abandoned it to play PS4 remaster of SA of that November. Stopped as the FIB plot gathererd pace, it was just too boring to endure all over again, I did try, but just couldn't do it,

In 9 months maybe, when I'll finally get my hands on a PS4, atleast thats the deadline I had set for myself.

EDIT: For Online of course, I already saw everything that there is to see at single player, there's no point in coming back, and I already spoiled myself with the Murder Mystery.

I'm not willing to give another go at GTA V again. The last time I did a play through was about last year. Maybe, i'll do another play through, but I'm busy playing Vice City on the PS4, and IV on my PS3. I have given up on GTA V completely and there is no reason for me to replay it at all. I'm sorry, but that is how it is.

I have been on PS4. I rushed through it the first two times and then got wrapped up in my online character. It's pretty amazing how much alternate dialog and other little stuff like that for when you fail a mission or beat it in a different way. Makes me realize how well made and almost flawless the story mode is.

I've tried to pay it a second time through a couple of times, once on the PS3 and once on the PS4, but I can't ever seem to compel myself to do it - not least because free roam always becomes more boring after you complete the story.

Well, missions don't really allow for different aproaches/methods, with the exception of some like Crystal Maze, like previous GTAs. You're gonna be doing the exact same thing in all playthroughs. So I'd say the maximum I enjoy playing the story is twice. Perfect for doing the heist aproaches I didn't do in my first playthrough.

Maybe in 9 months.

Edit: Actually make it a year.

i'm almost certain this month is the one year anniversary for me (since i played the s.p storyline) :) been playing gta online again this past week with mixed results, it's a great game, it's just a bunch of little things that bug me, i said bug for a reason, they are far from game breaking just a little annoying XD

(i'm still bitter with the way they treat s.p though for the record, alot of the online features could work offline and you wouldn't have to deal with trolls ect... )

( even the heists themselves... why can't i do them solo with A.I partners ? that way i don't have to rely on others, i can go at my own pace ect.... )

I just lose the hope for a Single Player DLC. Rockstar is gonna just keep "updating" GTA:Online. And probably we are gonna have GTA:6 like in 2020....but for Pc is gonna be out for like 2030 more or less.

I'm always tempted to start a fifth play through, but I think four is enough for now. I'll give it a year or so, I should be done with Fallout 4 by then.

I started my tenth or so playthrough a few days ago... on the PS3!!

Yes, after being spoiled with the PS4 graphics I can still play V on PS3.

Dangerous and sad

It's weird seeing osho praise V. Still can't get use to it. I barely replay the whole story. I just do free-roam or replay unique missions I loved{Hood missions, all heists(Including blitz play and humane labs), And the TPI missions}

I just did another playthrough this weekend. It's decent if you mash X and skip the cringey overly long boring cutscenes. I kept laughing at how weak the enemies are compared to GTAOnline enemies, especially during missions with sniper rifles. Enemies go down in one hit with the sniper, amazing! If it was GTA online you'd need to shoot the enemies in the head about 20 times with the heavy sniper. Pretty hilarious. I gotta admit most of the missions are pretty boring though, even the heists. Everything is so scripted there's never any worry that any things going to go wrong if you pick the right people. I picked ending A because I was sick of seeing Trevor's stupid tryhard edgelord character switch scenes when I got involuntarily booted from GTAOnline back to single player (which happens quite regularly)

I just picked up L.A. Noire because I've been wanting to try it for ages. After finishing that and IV again I may give it another go.

I might even go for 100% but I don't know if I have the patience for that.

20 times with a heavy sniper? Rhetoric of the highest calibre. Enemies drop like flies online, too. In one sniper headshot as well.

First time I've seen Trevor's switch scenes be referred to as "stupid tryhard edgelord", so that's fun.

I don't think anyone with a functioning brain would take the comment literally. Yes it's an exaggeration, but I've seen with my own two eyes Online enemies take multiple heavy sniper shots to the chest and still get back up. It's how they inflate the difficulty to stretch out the gameplay and make up for the poor AI. That's why I laughed out loud when Trevor's sniper rifle was one hit killing Lost NPCs with body hits.

Can you understand the difference between online and story? Online can be done with multiple people, story mode can't. Why would you expect a sniper bullet hitting Lost cronies to do anything other than destroy them? Would you prefer they made online more difficult with bullsh*t AI? Or is an NPC taking slightly more damage than normal actually quite OK for a multiplayer environment?
