Kuruma is Innocent

The only issue I have with the Armoured Kuruma is that it seems to be one of those cars that I never see customised tastefully. Not that it actually bothers me it's just an observation.

I don't think I've ever been killed by someone driving one in free roam as it's straightforward to blow them up so no problems there.

Yes they are boring to use in missions as it makes them too easy and although my Carbonizzare inexplicably has a similar bulletproof ability against the AI, while also being a great looking car, I very rarely use it for missions. However I do use my Buzzard on the reg for grinding (solo) and I don't see any difference between grinding with that or with a Kuruma, it's just down to preference.

Hell yes. Those same tacky people sometimes get it right with a matte black Kuruma that looks mean, but most of the time it's an eyesore on wheels.

It's most of the drivers we should hate, not the car itself. The car itself is fantastic (many pratical reasons why it's popular with the halfwits).

doing a mission from out of a f*cking kuruma is like eating your steak well done!

Say whatever you want, u are doing it wrong! go play cod. thats where your kind is at home.

The reason there's a "well-done" between "medium well" and "you f*cking burned it" is because there are enough people who like it well done to merit its own preference.

So your analogy falls short.

as i said, like eating your steak well done, or even medium well, whatever. you see people doing it, preferring it and defending it, but the majority who knows how to eat steak properly will silently judge you. because you are doing it wrong.

but maybe i am totally wrong and using a kuruma (armored of course) is by far worse than this.

u know what, i give in. u are right. eat your steak as u like. but armored cars? a child's toy in a mature game.

I hate the noobs that drive me over in those nd insurgents on missions like convoy though...they generaly stay inside them and just prefer to ignore the choppers to

I actually tend to grind the big four missions for payout with a Kuruma and a Savage:-

The Los Santos Connection

Titan of a Job

Trash Talk

Judging the Jury

Really healthy combination of protection and brawn for maximum payout efficiency-wise with minimum cost, otherwise if I'm stuck with any other mission that requires me to get out of my Kuruma to reach a tight spot on foot or to get into an objective vehicle, I'll do what I need to do.

Same goes for heists, I'll vary my vehicles for my needs like getting to the sea sharks with my T20 near Avery's Island where we respawn, or use my Insurgent for a huge amount of cover when we need to block the Convoy.

I try to play the biggest part of the mission/heist/set up and do most of the work as fast as possible to make sure that the randoms have a smaller, yet still amazingly possible, chance of f*cking up and force us to start again with a very big chance of leaving the heist/set up while introducing our favorite view of very detailed clouds during loading screens.

Bitch and moan thread.

Well, 10 hours after your post, this thread hasn't been locked or moved. So I'm guessing the mods disagree.

Besides, you would deny a vehicle a fair trial?

If i am grinding, i might take the kuruma. If i do, i usually use it as a mobile shield, and park it somewhere nice. Hate using pistols (heavy revolver excluded) from it. I'll just whip my bullpup, sniper or grenade launcher and be on my way. I didn't use it for months, but after AI started to hit me while driving, from moving vehicles, a mile away, i have occasionally called for it.

Who is so bent out of shape that they get mad about a Kuruma in a heist? That's the Mecca of Kurumas.

When their flagrant use makes the game no fun? When users get so offended when you don't jump on board that they run you down dead, and then dick around hoping you'll quit the mission?

Poor justification. Heists are fun when you get them done, and how does a Kuruma make them not fun? If someone runs you over then they obviously don't care about the mission, which is why you would generally want a Kuruma.

doing a mission from out of a f*cking kuruma is like eating your steak well done!

Your "kind" should have paid better attention when you were learning how to type.

Some people never figured out how to shoot through the windows. Some people also expect it to handle like a super and complain when it doesn't.

If your goal is to make as much money as quickly as possible then the Kuruma is an invaluable asset.

I like to make lots of money so I use it a lot. I'm also crap at using a gun so it saves me many, many deaths. I love it.

If the AI weren't laser-guided, aimbot, 360 no-scope, bullet-sponge, meat-shields of doom the armoured Kuruma wouldn't even be a necessary inclusion.

I have no sympathy for players who use the Kuruma during missions. If you want to use it during heists, that's fine, it pays to have the extra bit of protection since if one person dies the whole mission fails. But if you really need a Kuruma to do the missions in this game, you're probably not a very good player. I never use mine during missions, in fact I stick with motorcycles most of the time which give even less protection than a regular car, and I still almost never die.

Yet every time I play a mission with other people, I see at least one player, if not HALF of the players in the mission just charging in with their AK's trying to run over each individual NPC or wasting like 8000 rounds of SMG ammo just trying to shoot one of them. I usually clear out most of the NPC's while this is going on with less than a single mag from an assault rifle or a couple mags on my pistol. It should tell you something about your playing style and lack of skills whenever the player who is getting most of the kills in the session is just using a freaking pistol.

Aside from the fact that it looks retarded, it is also inconvenient to players like me who do the work on foot. Instead of quickly dispatching the NPC's and getting to the objective, I now have to wait for all the idiots driving around in AK's to get out of their car or leave the area so I can safely proceed on foot, otherwise they will almost always run you over, either purposefully or accidentally. It is especially irritating on the mission Hard Labor, I never would have thought to try this mission with an AK but I'll be damned if someone doesn't try it every single time I play it with others. Then there is also the guy who has to get a Savage. No one has the skills to take on simple missions like this on foot anymore.

Kuruma is great for grinding.

Sounds like you ran into players who actually wanted to have fun.

This ^

The Kuruma is the Anti Fun car. Sure its OP against the AI.. thats why players find it annoying if you are just playing for fun and not grinding.

Sure it one thing to use it on missions where the AI spawn is out of control But missions like that count for about 10% of the content. The rest of the missions can be done with any vehicle.. even a damn BMX. I just laugh when i see the Kuruma for easy missions... its so boring. f*ck grinding...

I find it annoying to when people only use the Kuruma for everything. Some even get angry when i don't get in the car with them, like im dumb for not wanting to get into the 'easy' mode car.

People in free roam that attack me tho.. f*ck it.. you get blown up ASAP. If they don't have the balls to get out of the bullet proof car, il just remove the bullet proof car...lol

Kurumas in Simeon missions are just stupid.

Not only is that completely unnecessary because you HAVE to leave your car to deliver the other one, it's not the correct vehicle for the job for grinders.

You wanna grind a Simeon mission? Newsflash: you need a faster vehicle. Like the way cheaper superbikes.

Hey everyone, my first post ever since I came here, so let's get started:-

The Kuruma, as you know, is a very useful tool to deal with the bullsh*t this game throws at us, like the AI for example. It helps us with the grind while making our goals easier with top tier efficiency as long as the driver has a brain.

Problem is, a lot of people lately have been very aggressive against people who use the Kuruma in missions and heists built for grinding, the sources of these attacks are very limited when it comes here but most of the hate comes from the subreddits, you cannot have common sense coexist with circlejerk over there.

Their problem isn't with the griefers in Freeroam, their problem is with people not playing the game like they want, if I want to use a Kuruma don't be a bitch about my choices and spend the entire mission blowing up our Kurumas, you're just wasting your money and time dude, grow up.

Anyways, there is NOTHING WRONG with grinding the game as fast as you can to buy the flashy new toys R* brought us, I do that too. No one has the time or mood to play like the wannabe biker your character is doing nothing but doing a silly slow walk to objective roleplay or using nothing but pistols or busying yourself with drive-by sawed off shotgun kills while you get peppered by the AI for your stupidity. This uptight holier-than-thou attitude is as cancerous as Online's fanbase, same goes for the Kuruma griefers.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

I guess these are my two cents, lemme know what you think below.

No fighting or arguing, you can discuss it like adults but I don't want my thread to be locked.

Are you trolling? JMO, but the Kuruma was added because of all the kiddies whining that they didn't have armor to compete against those of us who put time in and earned it (and yes, I remember the days when I had to learn to survive against superior equipment, a pre-nerfed Rhino, etc). The Kuruma is basically the car of the squeaker who doesn't otherwise have the skills to compete. Some of them then slap on a bullet proof helmet. Those are the special people I really enjoy killing. So, the Kuruma itself might be innocent, but the kiddies that drive it are not.

Im almost rank 400 and I use the Kuruma sometimes in heists. But we have so much selection now in cool cars, Im seeing less and less of them in freeroam. I have a favorite car in freeroam that's not a Kuruma that literally jumps in the air when a Hydra fires at it, or missile launches it. I get protection from two hits before Im out, so yes, Kuruma is getting old in freeroam, theres more fun cars to be used

No, I'm not. I'm calling out the people who bitch at other people's play styles of using a Kuruma for grinding and making the AI dumbfounded, like me for example, and not at the kiddies who use the Kuruma for griefing.

Don't worry about it.

Get a Chrome Adder instead. Everyone will compliment you on your choices and become your friend and protector.

Plot twist: no they won't. It doesn't matter what you do, humans will always resent you somehow. And me. And them.

I got pretty tired of the armoured Kuruma pretty fast. Although people 'grief' with it, I'm still able to use one of the other many weapons R* has added to combat this.

You'll have to get in line behind the "we had jet people." That line forms four blocks back and goes around the corner. Like the old government "free" cheese line.

Good luck with that.

NOTE: Didn't see the rest of your post. There is a sanctimonious crowd on these boards that think you should play the game by their tribal code (while they do extreme things or utilize short cuts of their own). Reasoning with this group is a waste of precious seconds.

I use my Kuruma to grind missions and in Heists all the time. Very useful vehicle. I choose NOT to drive around in it bunkered down in FM and attack people (my choice and I have no problem with people who do it, I just kill them).
