While I honestly doubt that the next GTA will be GTA VI, well... maybe 10 years later...


1. Liberty City

2. Perhaps finishing up the State of Alderney and adding Liberty Upstate without touching the existing LC map.

6. It depends. If the story would be well written and the protagonists stories would be nicely connected then it can be more than one.

7. Not sure but I wouldn't mind it at all.

8. Wouldn't bother me at all.

9. Full of crime, revenge, drama.

10. Gang leaders and crooked politicians/businessmen.

11. Doesn't matter too much, but the protagonist should be in his 30's, already experienced a bit. Kinda like Tommy V or Niko B.

- Two would work just fine. Maybe they could make it that these two just happen to run into each other will building up their own empires.

- Yes...one of the two protagonists being female

- Yeah, I guess I wouldn't mind having a dog to help me out in some nasty firefights

 

9. What should be the main theme of the game?

- The rise of two, eventual drug lords, ruling the VC underworld

 

10. What should the antagonists be like?

- Other gangs, police investigating your gang, crooked politicians, etc.

 

11. What kind of criminal/s should the protagonist/s be?

- They start off in a gang, but eventually make their own. I'd say the two would be drug kingpins.

Las Venturas, tbh.

Yeah, preferably a desert with run-down desert towns along Route 66, The Grand Canyon, valleys, etc.

3. What should be the atmosphere of the game? (Dark and depressing/ Light and cheery/ Other (specify)):

Fairly light and cheery with some depressing moments here and there. Almost on the same level of shows like Bojack Horseman, Rick and Morty, Futurama, etc.

4. Should the story be more serious or more light-hearted? (Serious/ Light-hearted/ In-between):

No matter how cheery or silly the game is, the plot should be serious. I don't want a silly or over the top plot that doesn't make sense because it breaks immersion.

5. Should the story take place in the past or the present? (Past/ Present):

I wouldn't mind seeing Rockstar tackle the early 2000's. I don't think I've seen a show, game or movie that's has tried to be reminiscent of the 00's compared to the constant references to the 80's and 90's we get. If you can't picture how to encapsulate the 00's in a video game, watch The Wire (in terms of crime and GTA-related themes) Pop culture should be pretty easy to pinpoint. Flip phones, cheesy reality TV, sh*tty internet webpages and computers, etc.

6. How many protagonists (playable characters) should there be? (One/ Two/ Three/ More than three (specify)):

I'd like to see 2. I've seen DYOM projects with 2 protagonists and when its done right, it works reaaaaaaly well and creates a very interesting plot. Rockstar could do it. I think 3 is too much though.

7. Should there finally be a female protagonist? (Yes/ No/ Not sure):

It depends.

8. Should the protagonist/s have any pet animals? (Yes/ No):

Once again, it depends. Kind of a weird question. Though I wouldn't mind seeing a character with a pet tiger like Ezekial in The Walking Dead.

9. What should be the main theme of the game? - specify (i.e. revenge story, criminal drama, heists, love story, etc.):

I was going to say Heists, but that can be a subplot since it was the main theme of the last GTA game (which unfortunately wasn't done that well, which is why I'd like to see Rockstar give it another shot) The main theme could be corruption among rich casino owners, with ties to the Mafia, crooked cops, desert bikers, etc. (Idea came from the movie Casino)

10. What should the antagonists be like? - specify (i.e. crooked cops, government agents, gang leaders, etc.):

Maybe someone whos an expertise in pulling off Heists. He'd be hard to outsmart and catch, and we haven't seen that type of criminal as an antagonist yet. And it is Las Venturas, after all.

11. What kind of criminal/s should the protagonist/s be? - specify (i.e. errand boy, racer, hired gun, etc.):et animals? (Yes/ No):

See question 9. Maybe some goons who work for the casino owner, or maybe one could be a government agent/crooked cop.

City? I was thinking of Southern and Mid Liberty, Southern (don't know if it's called Florida in the HD Universe), and Mid Northern San Andreas.

2. Should there be any city surroundings? - specify

Small suburbs and hills/mountains in Liberty, swamps and beaches in (Florida) and mountains, beaches and a large bay in Northern San Andreas.

3. What should be the atmosphere of the game?

Dark with a focus on government corruption, drug epidemics and violence.

4. Should the story be more serious or more light-hearted?

Serious, of course without comedy it wouldn't be a GTA, or Rockstar for that matter, game.

5. Should the story take place in the past or the present?

Anywhere from 2009-Present would be fine with me.

6. How many protagonists (playable characters) should there be?:

I'd say it should be somewhat like some Final Fantasy games, with occasional gameplay as someone else. I'd say the focus should be on 1 character, with a 2nd character that helps out and gets more focus later in the game.

7. Should there finally be a female protagonist?

The 2nd character should be an up and coming female criminal.

8. Should the protagonist/s have any pet animals?

Sure, seems kinda trivial unless they work like a more interactive Chop.

9. What should be the main theme of the game? - specify

Capitalist hypocrisy and corruption, lies spread through the media, criminals demonized when most just need food to provide for their family, the "American Dream". Basically, every GTA theme smashed into one big message.

10. What should the antagonists be like? - specify

Initially numerous gangs out to get you, the final protagonist should be somewhat a parody of Trump, only not as rich and powerful. It should be someone with a reason to be so cruel, not just doing it for kicks. You should be able to somewhat sympathize with them.

11. What kind of criminal/s should the protagonist/s be?

Jack of all trades, begin the game as a mugger, then a bodyguard for a member of the mob, then a hit man, then a stick-up artist/bank robber.

2. I want the diversity we see in SA.



3. Dark, noir and some retro 80'ish style(like Drive or Miami Hotline)

6. Back to only one, or at some point of the game we change the perspective by let to us choose if we want to still with our initial protagonist or the antagonist.



7. That would be nice, it would be a different point of view, like we have with Michael in V(a rich father middle-age protagonist)

9. I always think how cool a retired cop tragicomedy would be, a guy(or a girl) like Mike from Breaking Bad: cold, silent type, with nothing to lose anymore, involved with the Cartel or Mafia, different from the last games in which we were betrayed, in this we would betray to get the power and respect, but with no ''happy ending''.



10. As said before, croocked and ''honest'' cops together to destroy the protagonist, the Cartel/Mafia, government involvement.



11. Like said in 9. a old corrupt cop who is forced to get out, cold, sarcastic, violent(only when we needs to be), a kind of Tony Montana(aspire to be the boss), Tony Soprano(old, depressive, sociopath) and Mike(corrupt cop,broken for his past, silent type and cold on his jobs)

2. Should there be any city surroundings? - specify (i.e. forests, deserts, etc.): Depends. In San Diego, it should all be urban, organized settings. In Tijuana, there is more nature and crazy slums

3. What should be the atmosphere of the game? (Dark and depressing/ Light and cheery/ Other (specify)): A dual side. Light in SD, dark in TJ.m

4. Should the story be more serious or more light-hearted? (Serious/ Light-hearted/ In-between): Serious, to the point where the protagonist is disgusted with SD

5. Should the story take place in the past or the present? (Past/ Present): Present, specially feinding on Trump and immigration policies

6. How many protagonists (playable characters) should there be? (One/ Two/ Three/ More than three (specify)): One, maybe even two, with properly developed storylines. Three protagonists doesn't work

He is blackmailed into working for a crooked cop doing dirty errands under threat of their deportation. Then, when the cop turns on him and makes him San Diego's public enemy, his whole family has to flee to Tijuana, under threat of being hunted by the police in San Diego. There, he is forced into criminal activities in order to sustain his family, and also to look for revenge and redemption

11. What kind of criminal/s should the protagonist/s be? - specify (i.e. errand boy, racer, hired gun, etc.): Errand boy for the crooked cop, then slowly rise up the ranks of a Mexican Cartel

Some of these ideas may be trash and too similar to the Vice City games but I'm just spitballing here. This is also terribly worded.

2. No, I want more of a city focus for VC, a bigger city, not too big but good, make it feel big especially, not the size of LS and LC which are pretty much the same, if the case is Rockstar being afraid of making the cities imbalanced in the HD era they just need to say that the other cities had more areas but the events there took place in the areas we have currently. Save country for San Andreas. There should be some nice swamps and a few areas with shorter trees, like it is IRL, but there doesn't have to be too much, just make a nice swamp. A few abandoned areas here and there and houses. There really is nothing interesting outside of Miami, it's all flat and swamps. Playing the battlefield hardline story and exploring around the swamp in V is something which I would imagine. There should be the keys, and UNDERWATER PLEASE, I know the underwater was way underused and people didn't like it in V because it could've been sacrificed for a better map but I think it is necessary for VC, I think it would be very interesting to explore and people would appreciate the better detail, like how you could see underwater in GTA Vice City.

 

Oh yeah, MAYBE some backroads and stuff north/west of the city. As much as I like having a big city it's nice to have the freedom to get out of it sometimes. But the swamp can provide this too, maybe not as much but just having the freedom to explore other areas is cool.

 

3. Well, Vice City is humid, right? I imagine less sunny than V but still a bit of sun with some sunny days, cloudy days. A mix between V and IV maybe. More on the V side, but unique, not dry and bright.

 

4. Mix, maybe more on the serious side, I don't know.

6. 1, but 2 could be interesting like they meet each other and don't know each otber, like Lance and Tommy. If they really want to do 3 do it in DLC's like IV.

8. doesn't matter, Franklin had chop, that was cool. Don't kill it off.

 

9. I was thinking someone who wants to bring the 80's back to Vice (crime, coke, all that), don't know if that's corny or not.

 

Maybe the FIB slips up, gangs and stuff start running rampant again and the protag jumps in and it all goes downhill (uphill) from there.

 

10. Gang leaders with some interference with from the federal gov who f*ck off right after they show up, not too much FIB stuff like V.

 

11. Maybe a lone-wolf like Trevor or someone who has connections like Tommy.

I would like a new city, just like Vice City was new for GTA back then, Los Santos, Las Venturas, San Fierro were all new back in the 3D era. Since then we haven't had a new city in GTA style. My hope is Boston.

Of course. Variety is key to keeping a map fresh. Multiple cities is my hope with surrounding countryside in between. A map like that has longevity. Bored of the city, explore the countryside. Bored of the countryside drive back to the city. Not to mention the mission opportunity such environmental diversity offers.

After V, it should go dark and gritty. why anyone would want a depressing game is beyond me. People mistake depressing for darkness and grittiness. Like III to Vice City it was dark and gritty to sun and cheery. Then from Vice to SA we got something new, multiple cities.



4. Should the story be more serious or more light-hearted? (Serious/ Light-hearted/ In-between):



Write a good serious story or a seriously good story and make sure it compliments gameplay and player motives with gampeplay and not just the character's motives and if the opportunity for humour arises naturally, then include it. But don't go out of your way to try be funny. Bit like The Sopranos or Goodfellas, they're serious stories but often times funny, because life is funny. Just don't go out of your way to try be funny unless it's on the radio or outside the story.



5. Should the story take place in the past or the present? (Past/ Present):



I think the series should alternate between modern and in the past. That way as players we get the benefit of drastic changes in the cars we love. Whereas if it's modern we're getting very slight variations of the same cars, which is boring. Also, experiencing past times is amazing and unique. There's reality and a million other games to experience in modern times. I play games for escapism not to mimic exact reality.



6. How many protagonists (playable characters) should there be? (One/ Two/ Three/ More than three (specify)):



One playable character but with plenty of custom options. I know Rockstar will want to keep the character "in-character" by not being able to give a certain character a hat or an afro because it wouldn't suit the character. That's bullsh*t. I at least want the option. If somebody wants to play their game with a silly afro that should be their choice. Rockstar shouldn't really take away that player freedom like we have being seeing since HD era. I personally like to keep my character in character for storyline and immersive reasons but after the story I may want to role play and try dress my character up characters from movies. Rockstar really are restrictive with that. Online is a closer step but remember the default clothes when it launched? All mostly sh*t. And then you got to wait months for something you like.

What's the point? Why would we even be thinking about the sex of a character before the we even know the story? I think most men like playing this action-fantasy games as their own sex. GTA's storylines focus on a world where the protag is most likely male and it's for a male audience. I'm happy to play as females in other games. Regular street gameplay on hijacking cars, aggressive, violent, destructive behaviour, empire building, car customisation and car culture would be more believable and suitable for a male for me. That's not misogynistic as some people might believe, that's just knowing what I want. It's not saying a female can't do these things. I'm saying that they don't pursue those ventures like males do.



Open to a female in DLC. Not the main game.

I can't have a strong opinion on that. How does it affect me? Is it relevant to the story? Does the character owning a pet add to his/her character? What does the pet do? Does it serve a purpose? Is it playable? Is it just a fish in tank? :p



9. What should be the main theme of the game? - specify (i.e. revenge story, criminal drama, heists, love story, etc.):



Criminal drama about a character a young mafioso or Irish Mob member being framed by another mob guy to make it look like he broke one of the biggest mafia rules, taking out a boss. There's a contract on your head from all gangs and you have to clear your name and build your empire in the process.



10. What should the antagonists be like? - specify (i.e. crooked cops, government agents, gang leaders, etc.):



Wouldn't mind seeing a likable cop or FIB agent for a change. Maybe one you grease or one who's life you saved and now gives you information and maybe just maybe the character isn't a 2D character where we just have to hate them. Maybe their character can be more nuanced with a few more human elements. Having said that the antagonist should maybe someone that you didn't think it would be. Someone you once worked for (show this in the game we play, don't make it backstory because I can't hate an antagonist for something that happened before the game a little bit like in GTA IV. Make it someone who was your friend that turns on you.



11. What kind of criminal/s should the protagonist/s be? - specify (i.e. errand boy, racer, hired gun, etc.):



We've had enough errand boys. That's every GTA character. I want my character to want to succeed in their criminal underground. That is the basis for their existence. Politics, friends and enemies get in the way of those desires and give challenges to the character. I want rags-to-riiches. I don't want to feel forced to do the work all the time because I want info or FIB is forcing me. I want to do it because my character is a criminal and that's how he makes his money.



I also want a more mysterious, more quiet type. Not a loud-mouth whiny character that complains a lot. A thinking man. A man thinking about his next moves. Speaks with the minimum. I don't need character on steroids trying to project themselves on me. I want to enjoy them as a character but let me inject a little bit of me in them by the style of clothes I have them wear and the car I chose to drive them in, the haircut I have them wear etc.

4. Should the story be more serious or more light-hearted? (Serious/ Light-hearted/ In-between): mix of both mainly serious with light hearted moments sprinkled in

5. Should the story take place in the past or the present? (Past/ Present): present

6. How many protagonists (playable characters) should there be? (One/ Two/ Three/ More than three (specify)): no more than two

7. Should there finally be a female protagonist? (Yes/ No/ Not sure): yes

2. Should there be any city surroundings? - specify (i.e. forests, deserts, etc.): Forests (basically the Everglades/Florida Keys). Mountains (In South America).

 

3. What should be the atmosphere of the game? (Dark and depressing/ Light and cheery/ Other (specify)): Well since it's VC, it can't really be too dark. I would prefer a mix of both, not too dark like IV but not too light like V. Combination of both but more towards the darker side.

As I see it, IV was pursuing the American Dream in the land of opportunity LC, V was living the American Dream in a sprawling sun-soaked city full of celebrities LS, and VI will be the death of the American Dream in the chaotic and notorious VC during the 80s when crime was being shifted from Colombians to Mexicans and DEA were tracking down the cartels.

 

10. What should the antagonists be like? - specify (i.e. crooked cops, government agents, gang leaders, etc.): The Drug Lord of the cartel who you work for and a member of the cartel. Essesntially, the drug lord brings you to the cartel after you performed small time thefts. You meet up with another guy in the cartel and become very close with him by smuggling drugs. Eventually, he sells you out during a big drug deal across South America and the price has been placed on your head by the Drug Lord. You successfully escape to South America and get put into prison. You are then broken out of prison and do the typical civil war in the foreign land (like RDR Mexico and RDR 2 Guarma). Then the story goes from there. 

 

11. What kind of criminal/s should the protagonist/s be? - specify (i.e. errand boy, racer, hired gun, etc.) Smuggler turned Drug Lord.

A remastered Vice City.

I don't see why not. Even Max Payne 2 did it, even though you switched for 5 minutes each time.

No, but there definitely should be animals.

  1. 4 cities San Fierro (San Francisco), Anywhere City (Seattle / Portland) basicaly the USA northwestern, with some small towns, and a island like guarma (Japan) Horogata (Tokyo) and Okasa (Osaka) and a beatifull landscapes , the game is based on the films of Jonh Woo and Jean Claude Van Damme of the 90s in Hong Kong and some of Tarantino but this is replaced by Tokyo in the game, the story focuses on a detective woman who works for the EDA (DEA), and a Young Japanese gang member who joins the Yakuza, air travel is very important in the game, the 90s vibe feels in the game a great soundtrack of the 90s, Nirvana, Green day, Emminem, 2 pac, Spice girls, Aqua and backstreet boys and 90s Japanese pop, it is planned that the map is 3 times RDR2 the game will have a history similar to RDR2 with prologue, history and epilogue, the epilogue will be an introduction of the characters, the Japanese (Akiro) very young years enter a gang and the police woman (Harper) joins at the police department of San Fierro in late 80s history takes us throughout the 90s changing time, clothing, vehicles, new phone models and "new" songs on the radio that leave according to their real year of launching in the game at the end of the story our characters will die and the epilogue would be in the 20s of the 21st century controlling the son of the protagonist (Harper) who were born during the history of the game to take revenge just like Jack in RDR1

if it has to be set in a gta location. then i want san fierro and las venturas. and if it was a whole new area. then i would like to see nashville tennessee.

of course. for san fierro it would have countryside. las venturas would have a desert. and for nashville. it would have countryside. it would even have a military base not too far away.

i think it would be mostly light. but i would also like some of those dark depressing atmospheres too.

i think a good mix of both would be nice. people always said that gta 5 is always light hearted and silly. but that torture mission was very dark. so i would be okay with a little of each. some fun silly missions. but also some more down to earth sad missions. red dead redemption 2 did it well. remember the lenny saloon mission? pure silliness. but we also have plenty of sad and dark missions.

the present of course. i know many people want a nostalgic setting. but i like the modern day games better. maybe they could do a flashback mission like the gta 5 prologue.

(One/ Two/ Three/ More than three (specify)):i think two is good. i feel like when they did three protagonists they bit off more than they could chew. the story was shorter and a lot of characters did not get as much screen time as they should have. i think two would be a little better. both characters can have different abilities and unique stories.

if its multiple protagonists yes. but if its just one then no. i think it might be a cool addition. but i dont want a female only protagonist game.

sure that would be cool. i would love to actually own a dog in the game. sadly chop was not franklins so i felt more like a pet sitter than an owner. and we should be able to go to the pet store and buy accessories for them. and do activities with them. as for other animals sure. im not a big cat person but i know people would love to have a cat. i think having a bird could be cool. or maybe your could be like el rubio and buy a dangerous animal. and feed your enemies to it. i think i would want a gator. a souvenir from lemoyne.

i would like to see another gangster story. mostly like a street gangster. i actually liked the gang missions in gta 5. and i loved going to the different gang territories and fighting them or just watching them and listening to their dialogue. even reading on each gang was fun. i want to do stuff like that.

 

10. What should the antagonists be like? - specify (i.e. crooked cops, government agents, gang leaders, etc.): probably gang leaders. with the occasional crooked cop. but i dont really want too much stuff with the government.

What kind of criminal/s should the protagonist/s be? - specify (i.e. errand boy, racer, hired gun, etc.): i like the idea of a crooked cop protagonist. so we could do patrolling and calls and be a cop. but also do bad stuff too. maybe have a cop and a regular gangster somehow meet up and they work together. or they are brothers.

I prefer San Andreas with its 3 cities or at least a city with a large surrounding area like in Mafia.
