pisces yacht helicopter bug/glitch

Being an owner of the Pisces yacht, I have never caught this happening to me, and I use the helicopter daily

 

I have downgraded from the Aquarius to the Pisces yacht if that matters. Or I am just lucky (Xbox One)

Happens to me also sometimes. Noticed it's whenever I access any other features like the quick menu or phone as I got in the copter so I have learnt not to do anything until the copter starts up.

blow the heli up and the bug goes away

After some more testing it seems waiting long enough after leaving the cabin is a workaround. If you stop to call up a pegasus vehicle before entering the heli that is usually long enough. Another indicator is when the level unkock messages (the ones with a "bong" sound) start appearing, if you leave the cabin as soon as you spawn.

I've had this problem with the swift too, what i found is that it does not happen when you press and hold R2/RT when entering

I am now also having problems with it even after waiting for the level up notifications/bong sounds, but I did find a new workaround that

hasn't failed yet:

 

Kick the door to the swift before getting in. This should break the glass in the door and the windshield. You don't need to wait, it works right away but you do need yacht defenses off to be able to kick it.

It got patched in the last update/patch, but then whatever they did during the maintenance period last weeks seems to have broken the patch for it.

It was broken before that for me.
