pisces yacht helicopter bug/glitch

Hi,

 

this is the situation:

 

Pisces yacht, PS4

 

when I try to enter the yacht helicopter, i'm getting kicked out of it instantly, and from then, I can't enter again, it's like the helicopter was destroyed, but it is still there.

 

It does not happens all the time, but It's really annoying.

 

In my main character, I have an aquarius yacht, never happened, not once.

 

One thing I noticed, every time there was a level 8000 (or even 5000+, modded account transferred from ps3 or x360??), I wasn't able to use the heclicopter, not even when you call the captain and the helo is not on the yacht (coastline). Maybe, is just a coincidence.

 

is there a way to fix it??

The other guy had nothing to do with it. It's a bug that seems to go away with a session hop.

Modded account transferred from ps3 or x360, is a reality, like it or not. And honestly, I don't care at all if someone is using a modded acc to be a level 8000 or have a 1000+ kd. I don't cheat (is like you have something to compensate ), grief sure, and let me tell you, those hate messages are funny sometimes .

 

Leaving that behind, I want to fix that, I submitted a ticket to rockstar, no response so far.

Is this just the Pisces then? I only owned my Aquarius for about 3 hours.

 

I've got a feeling it's related to the Yacht Vehicle Access setting because IIRC it's never happened to me when set to everyone.

no problems with the aquaruis (i got it since day one)

 

I tried changing the vehicle access, is the same, still happens.

yeah...I figured you're real issue is with the high level player you keep referring to. If you can't get around that I'm surprised you have any of the things you listed in questioning my age (I'm a senior member that should indicate I'm not a child) and can tell you he wasn't the cause of your issue a s rank is a number that doesn't effect anything online with the exception for unlocks.

 

I've been in sessions with people with modded transfer ranks plenty to know that because they are in a sessions doesn't mean they are the cause of your particular occurrences in free roam. If you can't get past that you won't find the cause of your issue and are no different than a dog chasing its tail.

you can believe whatever you want or make you happy. And like i said before, "maybe is just a coincidence", never said it was because of that. I have no idea how the game is programmed, what i know is this game has a lot of bugs/glitch.

 

 

what I tried to say was, just was a thing i noticed, since in other lobbies without that kind of levels, after I went away from the yacht and go back and the helicopter re spwan, i was able to use it, in the other lobbies i wasn't. It caught my attention.

 

a very small change or difference, can make a big "disaster".

 

for example, one time I had a mayor issue with a distributed system, runing on linux suse 8.x, you know what it was? the person who made a config file, who was read by a process after the process receive a SIGUSR1 signal, use \r instead of \n. That small change cause segmentation fault so many times.

 

or when using SQL server, you forget to include a column that is part of a composite primary key when that pk is fk in another table, when doing a join. the performance is highly affected

 

so, can a modded acc procude some unwanted effects? maybe, maybe not. And that was the point.

Damit i thought i was the only one, this bug makes me very angry actually, because it forces me to use a f*cking boat to leave the yatch, and its super anoying when i'm on blaine county because its f*cking maoutains after mountais where i cant even call my car on shore

When this happens first blow up the helicopter and then get on to one of the seasharks or boats docked at your yacht and go away from the yacht until either the area of the helipad where the helicopter spawns is fully out of view or until you can't really see your Yacht. Then turn around and head back to the Yacht and a new helicopter should have spawned. You should then be able to get into it and take off with no issue.

It happens to me too, but I just donot bother, I just explode the heli and feel relaxed, then go away with one of the boats.

step 1. Blow up chopper.

step 2. get in a boat and drive off a ways away (far enough for things to respawn again).

step 3. head back to your yacht.

step 4. the chopper should respawn and might work this time.

 

Its worked for me most times.

I never spawn on my yacht so generally there's a Hydra or Buzzard on Helipad 2. Maybe try that?

I always thought it was related to my use of passive mode and it being disabled in the swift. I guess its just a bug.

It does seem to be a common bug, but I've never had it happen to me yet, and I always load in there and fly to land. I do tend to load ito invite sessions to start though, so maybe it could be related to other players as you wondered. Would need to find someone who plays invite/solo that has had this bug to rule it out.

I had this problem all the time and realized I'm always running straight to the swift after exiting the cabin. When I wait outside for a minute before getting in it doesn't happen.
