Funniest moments?

What are some of the funniest moments you've had in GTA V whether it's something in free roam or something from the story?

 

I've said this a few times before, but despite how I feel about Trevor as a character I thought the conversation between him and Michael on the way to scout out the Paleto Bay bank and then Michael calls him out for being a hipster. I always laugh when I watch this on YouTube or whatever. It's like Steven Ogg and Ned Luke were sitting in a pub/bar somewhere taking the piss out of eachother lol.

 

It's actually one of the most genuine pieces of dialogue IMO that feels more relaxed and natural.

 

Also if you've captured anything using the Director Mode please share thanks.

Besides that and the hipster exchange between M and T, I found nothing else too funny really, mostly because I'm not really into the heavy tongue-in-cheek and over-the-top satire of this game.

Trevor and Patricia's parting moment was kind of funny, I guess. The stuff I've laughed at most is the weirder stuff I've found when exploring. Chasing chickens around the hood, being savaged without notice by mountain lions, throwing Trevor head first down Chiliad.

 

The humour of V doesn't quite hit the levels of previous games so, sadly, most of the funny stuff is stuff I've engineered myself.

Man, the hipster convo is one of the most genuine parts of GTA V's script. Especially the way the actors delivered the dialogue. Fun fact, Me and my classmates actually reenacted it for English class, minus the swearing of course. It felt great playing as Michael calling out my classmate as a hipster. Going back to the topic, personally V's humor mostly fall short of my expectations, but the hipster convo is definitely a win-win in terms of funny moments in GTA V, an others would definitely agree. Also the part where Trevor trips over the fence, and unexpectedly punched the guy walking on the street was pure gold. Most of these moments were actually impromptu by the actors themselves, that's why they felt genuine and real.

The Fresh Meat opening is one of my favorite scenes in the game. Not only it's funny, but also pretty chilling on Trevor's side. Ogg just knocked it out of the park there, you really get the sense of how dangerous and barely contained Trevor is, without over-the-top insanity of most of Trevor's other outbursts. Less is more and all that.

 

But back on topic, Did Somebody Say Yoga is quite controversial mission around here, but really I love Michael there. From the way he p*sses Amanda off by accepting Fabien's invitation to yoga, to his quips during the session ("I feel like I'm channeling bullsh*t right now"), his awkward attempts at connecting with Jimmy ("Bounce? We're bouncing now?") and the absurdity of his drug trip.

 

And in general, everything that comes out of Lamar's mouth is gold.

This might be a reference to the random plane crashes in PS2 v1 SA. Cool stuff.

 

For me the funniest moment in missions was Lamar's 'Yee-yee ass haircut' dialogue. In general gameplay the ragdoll button.

Yesterday when i was playing golf, I hit Trevor with the golf ball in the face so he was flying.

Hardly any I can remember, but what I did find very funny was the beginning cutscene of Hood Safari, when Trevor gets excited about going to the Balla's hood with Lamar and Franklin to do a drug deal. The voice acting in that scene was brilliant and entertaining.

 

That was the kind of humour and stuff I wanted to mostly see in V.

Two things in particular...

Lamar: "Oh, my bad, Mr. Gold Card"

When you pick up a prostitute on the side of the road and then proceed to do the nasty with her in M/F/T's car, sometimes she'll say, "Have you been eating asparagus?" I legit laughed for like 10 minutes straight, couldn't even get a breath in. Then I hit her with my bat. Then I hit her with my baseball bat.

 

And that's all I have to say about that.
