Is Rockstar really a coward when it comes to patching harmless glitche

I want to hear from you people on what you have to say about rockstar when it comes to patching harmless glitches and taking away our VIP, bodyguard, and modded outfits without even telling us why they did so. Also I'm frustrated with their inability to communicate with their fans.

Uncle Sikee Atric

I think it is more the fact there are players who actually waste time trying out stupid combos and countless tricks to break the fixes again....

They must spend hours in little groups giggling and cackling, like witches round the cauldron. It's a game for christs' sake! Why waste your lives on this crap, who cares really?

Regarding the VIP outfits, I think they should just add them to be bought in freeroam. And a whole lot of other clothes should be availabe as well. They're all in the game anyway, yet Rockstar decides that they're too goddamn cool for us lousy players to wear?

then you'll find your answer in some of the other threads about those very same things.

Use the search or Google it there's plenty to read on the topic.

It's honestly mind boggling to think about how few of the people here have the sense to do a Google search when the internal search fails. I never even use the search here, I always use Google.

I tell you what climbing through the bridge wall breach and parachuting under the map, through the roof of your garage. Then casually walking into you apartment to save and outfit was almost more fun than any heist or mission in the game. Especially when a cop chased me around the city in benders enhanced cop speed Stallion with Yankton plates. Golden moment I tell you.

Jerking For Soup

I personally believe Rockstar patch harmless glitches because it could lead to exploitive glitches. For example, the Jesus walk on water glitch back in 1.15, I believe, was pretty harmless. The reason they patched it was because users would hover above the military base, and then constantly go in the area and out, losing wanted levels ad gaining tons of rp each time they did it.

^^ Oh no! It's retarded!

that's not all

the catch ? you know rooftop rumble ? that was best paying mission before getting patched few times ( sometimes changing they payout then they finalize their change by making it even more harder )

the other one is coveted , where they make changes , too ! adding some enemies , reposition some objects ( NPCs , vehicles , etc ) and the container dropout is on Cypress flats

Part of the thrill is that nobody else has the outfit. Only half of the community has the cop uniform. I do not get it why R* is so picky about outfits.

Any patched glitch is an achievement and a blessing to legitimate video gamers.

most people only do the bodyguard/VIP for the outfits

making them available and no one will play them

Did you notice you no longer get RP during 5 star?. Wonder when that got added to the 10,000 other nerfs.

Probably because not everything is as harmless as it seems. Ever think of that?

exactly. Having those outfits didn't go off without a hitch. I would experience stuttering when I wasn't vip wearing a vip outfit and it's not the first time it happened. Saving heist outfits also had its downside. People don't realize certain calls are made and checksums that really can mixup with what is drawn for each player to see and manipulating these calls can get dodgy unless properly enabled. But we can debate this until the cows come home. Those of us that are familiar with it will roll with it while those who have no clue Bitch and complain.

Some glitches are harmless and only you can see them others force the game to do things which are not pre coded. These are whats considered harmful.

So first of all; RR was completely f*cked. You could complete the mission within 10-20 seconds, this is obviously something that was appropriately patched. Second; there are now missions that pay 15k+ that you can finish is about 5 minutes, that's more than RR payed-out. Third; there are many 2xGTA$ event's now, the highest I got from a mission was around $35k, and 420k total over an about 90 mins.

There are many reasons glitches are patched. Good or bad, they are not patching them for no reason, and many systems the engine relies on where even 1 small bug can be catastrophic.

I don't agree. It will negate the point of being a VIP. They shouldn't remove the perks of being a VIP just to satisfy some kiddies.

That series of ones and zeros translates into "You don't know what coward means."

You change one 0 into a 1 and you end up with a miss spelled word. You change enough of them and you can alter the sentence. Now image that instead of using them to convey how my opinion on your intelligence, I'm instead using them to describe to a machine how to display an image/skin on a moving object. That's going to take a lot of 1's and 0's. And if just one of them gets changed, it can completely alter a lot of unrelated items with consequences that can be benign to disastrous.

TL;DR

If you don't know how something works, you can't accurately judge the difficulty or the consequences of a particular action.

There's 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

Basically to sum up this post, we don't know if the glitches they remove were harmless for certain. That VIP outfit glitch did actually cause more lag then usual.

Pls, this forum is full of veteran teenage programmers/modellers/animators/coders who think everything they want in the game "shouldn't be too hard" to add.

Arrows to Athens

It's silly and wrong. They even said they won't patch harmless glitches as long as it doesn't negatively affect other players or the game. They should be patching wall breaches and other glitches that negatively affect the game. I mean, if they're going to fix the harmless glitches, at least implement them as a feature in the near future.
