Yoha
Hi firends~ I'm working on a plane, and my progress is focus on the dials, right now. I'm trying to mix the original dials of lazer with digital dials of truck. Most of dials is from lazer, they are works fine. the texture name of these two dials are: (1) script_rt_dials_digital.dds (2) script_rt_dials_lazer.dds But one dial from truck is not work, it is a digital number dial, show the speed of vehicle. My question is how to make this digital number dial work. Do I need add some code in vehicles.meta or handling.meta? Does one vehicle can only use one type of dials? I tried: <dashboardType>VDT_LAZER</dashboardType> <dashboardType>VDT_TRUCKDIGI</dashboardType> And <dashboardType>VDT_LAZER VDT_TRUCKDIGI</dashboardType> Both of them are not work. I guess I have to delete the digital number, only keep the lazer dashboard. Edited February 29, 2016 by Yoha MrGTAmodsgerman
3ric2hew
How to find out which interior dials a car uses? I look through the model viewer using openiv and it does have dials but the vehicles.meta line doesn't match it. The author didn't include the VDT in vehicles.meta. The he don't wanna answer my question. Help?
_CP_
Look in OpenIV Model View, which name of texture is assigned to vehicle_dash_emissive_opaque shader. Post a link of that vehicle.
SonofUgly
I also tried to add code in that file, it doesn't work. I tried: And Both of them are not work. I think it should be: <dashboardType> <Item>VDT_LAZER</Item> <Item>VDT_TRUCKDIGI</Item></dashboardType>Not sure if that would work, but that's how you would format it.
