This is probably one of the easiest heist finales, especially in comparison to its setups.

First part, post up, grenade launchers and machines guns, and you should have it in the bag.

Although the second part is easy enough if you've got a good gunner on the Technical that can take out the helicopters quick and everyone else is a decent enough driver, I'm wondering if anyone has ever taken the nearby train tunnel and the train tracks to the final destination rather than the freeway? I intend to try this the next time I do it, and it would seem to me to avoid most of the pursuers other than the helicopters.

I used the train tracks for the finale numerous times. Helps me avoid those vicious Slamvans filled with bikers aka my only legitimate fear of this finale.

Have done this many times and it works perfectly only having to deal with the helecoptors as you say. Take the train tracks all the way to the destination choosing the track farthest from the highway at all times. This technique is not as fast as the direct though and therefore is no good for the elite challenge.

I never thought about using the Train tracks, I'll definitely try it out next time ... But I suppose the entire team should be on the same page & knows the plan ahead.

________

Its an easy finale, especially if you are well armed.

The Grenade Launcher, Combat MG (though a Rifle with an extended clip works fine here) & the AP Pistol (extended clip) will make it a lot easier.

The warehouse part is pretty much a standard shoot out, take cover, blow the gas tanks &, you should be fine.

The delivery part is the one to pay attention to.

Have a skilled gunner in the Tactical & let it lead ... While the trucks hang back & keep their distance while the Tactical plays the Scout role & take out everything in the way.

The Tactical's driver must an AP ready & intervene when sh*t hits the fan, so the gunner don't get overwhelmed.

The most important is No Explosives! That's the how mission fails ... Some trigger happy random will always blow up one of the vehicles.

Has anyone completed the Elite Challenge on this finale? Do all the pursuers die to get the 75 kills?

Saw a lot of people doing the first part in an armored Kuruma. Absolutely dislike this method. Some stickies, rockets and bullets do the job easily on both sides. Stupid blocking Kuruma in the way just makes it harder, imo. I prefer the traintracks for the second part, but it's also easily doable on the highway.

Here's a video of the most conventional way of doing the Elite Challenge recorded by myself. The GTAForums World Records can be found in a thread under "Guides and strategies". That current WR is a whole lot faster.

Nice. I have have never gotten there fast enough to see Trevor by his Bodhi, or noticed his Bodhi parked by the warehouse.

Rocket Skates

Has anyone completed the Elite Challenge on this finale? Do all the pursuers die to get the 75 kills?

I just did the EC for this heist earlier. Start the mission at Integrity Way apartment and use bikes to get to the warehouse. The north team activates Trevor whilst the south team place proxy mines at where the vehicles come from and blow up the 3 gas tanks to avoid accidental death. The north team will use rockets to smoke the vehicles coming down the hill and they will give the command as to when to enter the Bensons. One person from each team will drive while the other stands on top of the trucks using miniguns, rockets and machine guns to destroy the pursuing vehicles on the highway. Drivers keep their interaction menu up, applying armor when needed and shooting if required to help out too. Also don't worry about Trevor getting in the truck, he can be left behind at the warehouse. When you get to the turn off off the highway, ignore the GPS and keep going straight, just veer off right onto the dirt road and then turn to go to the lighthouse.
