BST randomly spawning everywhere in FM on Ron's mission day (PS4)

So last Saturday, when Ron's missions were double cash and RP, in one session I noticed a number of players collecting Bullshark Testosterone and eventually one spawned near me too. Now I don't know if this had something to do with Ron's missions being double cash and RP but I could swear there was a modder messing around with the session, as there was also a different kind of lagg going on, more like stuttering and the game wouldn't respond to my button pressing (although my controllers are dieing when it comes to the buttons) I'm on PS4 btw.

 

Now I know there have been reports of modders on current gen, I have even seen a clip on Twitter where ferris wheels and UFOs spawned at LSC, but you rarely hear about modders on PS4 and I myself have never witnessed windmills in my garage of UFOs blocking the LSC entrance, other than this BST spawning everywhere.

 

Now I know it could be that multiple players had a daily obj that required them to collect BST but I highly doubt multiple players had that objective. It also seemed like only one BST was spawning at a time and when one spawned near me, nobody was close enough to me for it to have been ordered by them.

I know. Yet there have been UFOs blocking the LSC and windmills in garages. And how do you explain this? Magic? Aliens? I can't imagine a possible explanation for this, yet it all looks like mod menus are on CG. I'm clueless.

Oh btw, that rank 400+ guy I mentioned, he was the only VIP in the session but as VIP you can't spawn BST near other players, can you??

So they don't need a mod menu to spawn those props? How exactly does it work then? Not willing to try it myself, no no, just wondering how it works, curiousity is my middle name, after all.

Never heard of BST spawning in FM, but the only reason for that can be a DM lobby merged with a FM lobby, since BST is spawning frequently in DMs, while everything else has to be placed on the map. Since you can merge job lobbys, I guess it can happen with FM lobbys as well. A small lobby can be an indicator. First guy in a lobby dropped out of/started a deathmatch, got back into FM for some reason but the BST was active. No big deal either and no modder, just a glitch.

No it did not. As said before, combat rolls were patched some time ago and your friend can't get 300k from another player. It is not possible, so it did not happen. What might have happened is that you guys reported someone who actually gave you his earnings on PP. And this guy is definitely not responsible for greyed out options in your interaction menu.

I had something weird happen on PS4 at the weekend, there was a hold the castle free roam event at the coastguard place on the beach and as I was close I got there first, killed a couple of guys who approached then these other two appeared both in what I thought was passive as they were ghosts but they had weapons out but could not kill me and I could not kill them.

New guns in passive without the option to kill other players. Scumbags use it mostly for piracy prevention. You can kill them with teargas.

it was a web browser exploit already fixed. You couldn't test it if you wanted because ps4 has received several firmware updates since. There's nothing to combat drop the tin foil.

Can't confirm the OP reports, but I've had BST dropping in freemode recently, right outside LSIA under one of the walkways leading into the airport.

 

Never seen this before, but if someone's dropping free BST for my personal consumption, I can't complain.
